In addition to performing high quality pruning, easy to extremely technical removals, and stump grinding we have been called on to a variety of unusual jobs such as cat rescue, antenna installation, bird house installation, tree house removal, and cutting logs for mushroom culture. There is always something to keep things interesting and challenging.

Services
At Total Tree Care, we take pride in doing each job the right way. Our crew members are well trained and dedicated to taking good care of your trees and property. You can be sure that when you hire Total Tree Care, you will be taken care of- because we care. All of our staff has a passion for trees.
Trees are everywhere, and if cared for properly, their benefits can far outweigh their disadvantages. This is why you would want to hire an arborist. An arborist is trained and skilled in all facets of tree work, including planting, maintaining, and caring for them. Arborists have proper experience to know how to safely and effectively work on trees.
Yes, we do. Simply call our office at (435) 752-1884, or fill out the information on this website, and we will get you on our schedule. One of our ISA Certified Arborists will assist you shortly after that. No, as it is against industry practices. We follow the ANSI A-300 pruning standard that prohibits topping as a practice harmful to the tree.
In the process of removing many trees, we generate copious amounts of logs. If reasonable we salvage the urban wood and have it milled into lumber. We have working relationships with a number of local sawmills and a cabinet shop. We have had great success milling black walnut, black locust, honeylocust, ash, Norway maple, Siberian elm and other species.
Total Tree Care has been involved in the Utah Tree Climbing Competition as competitors, judges, technicians, timers, and part of the committee. In that time we have been in the Master's Challenge (finals) 14 times, won the competition 4 times, and won 13 individual events.
We look forward to the competition each year because it is an opportunity to learn from other arborists, improve our skills and speed, which carries over on the job day to day, and it is fun to see how we compare with others.Mark Malmstrom, President of Total Tree Care in Cache Valley, has been featured in news stories on KSL and KUTV.
