Without exaggerating, some of the best ice cream I've tasted in the last 7 decades.

We just picked up ice cream from this place and both my boyfriend and I ended up with major headaches from the over powering of added sugar. The ice cream is not quality at all on top of that the rules that they can't serve you the cone but can touch a spoon then hand that to you is beyond me. I understand people are worried about Covid but use common sense when making up rules. In addition the girls behind the counter wanted to charge us for a spoon how the heck are you supposed to eat your ice cream! Not a fan and will not be returning

So freaking good! Cash only, walk up window. Best thing in the small town of Davis. Huge portion. I ordered the mint sliver with cone. They serve the cone upside down, so bowl ice cream and cone on top. Couldn't have been any better.

There was an elderly lady who sat down next to me (chairs on the side and back of building), who had a huge sundae and looked quite happy. Great atmosphere, fast service and very generous portion for the price.

My family and I stopped here after hiking at Blackwater Falls State Park. The owner was so helpful in accommodating a milk allergy and we were all able to enjoy a delicious treat. The ice cream and sorbets were delicious!

We had Strawberry and Vanilla. Strawberry had little chunks of the fruit in it and it wasn't too sweet. Perfect for the those who didn't like too much sweet ice creams.
Also, carry cash!

My boyfriend and I are ice cream experts (not necessarily a good thing lol!). Hands down this creamery makes batches to die for. I can only speak to coffee concoctions across the USA, as this is my go-to palette. The Ice Cream Shop has a recipe called "Mornin', Sunshine!" - a coffee recipe that is robust, with hints of caramel swirl and tiny chocolate slivers. My boyfriend had the Blackberry and agrees it is "the real deal" in quality.

Very solid place with lots of options, would definitely go again if I was back in Davis. Went with the Nana Nut.

This place (when open Inside, plays the best old Country music EVER, Johnny Cash is one of them) They serve the best of the best ice cream and have friendly staff !! Cool cow theme too ! :)

Amazing ice cream! I had the soft serve with the butter pecan flavor blast and OMG! So good! The ice cream was thick and creamy, and the butter pecan infusion was sublime. Cute little shop, friendly staff and super quick service.

KIller milk shakes and many other offerings for young and old. Not accepting credit cards is a major blind spot, but otherwise a treasured visit when in Davis.

This was a hit with the kids and the adults. Homemade ice cream, creative flavors, great service. we ordered the fudgey wudgey, a cup of chocolate, oreo, and the turtle sundae. We all loved what we ordered.

I've always got ice cream here over the summer it's always too notch, it's the best you will get it doesn't melt as soon as you get like every other ice cream. It's got the perfect flavor that keeps you coming back!

My husband and I stopped by after eating lunch in Davis because we both love ice cream! We're from Charleston and are big fans of Ellen's, but I was really surprised that this place had so many flavors and varieties! I had a scoop of what I believe was called blackberry swirl, and it was so creamy and fabulous. I could've eaten a gallon of it. My husband got a chocolate milkshake and thought it tasted good but was a little thin. Service was quick for such a busy day. We will definitely stop by again next time we're in the area!

Delicious ice cream with a wide variety of choices! Hard to choose but I highly tecommend the Tandy Cake Parfait!

This is the only ice cream shop around Davis/Thomas. It appears they make some of their ice cream. We got two milkshakes and ice cream. Milkshakes were fun flavors like green apple and caramel. Great place to stop with kids and grown ups in the summer.

The vanilla soft serve was great. I really wanted chocolate, but they were out on the day of our visit. The staff was all wearing masks which was greatly appreciated.
The German chocolate cake parfait was large enough for my husband and I to share. We enjoyed it !

Bad place! If you are driving for Uber pick up these guys are here to waste your time! Drove miles to get here and they were closed for the entire night. False advertisement, fake store!

This place is amazing. Fantastic classic soft serve with flavor burst, unique variety of hand-dipped, and creative concoctions like German chocolate parfait. Cash only though.

We always look forward to coming to Davis to get a banana split from The Ice Cream Shop. Everything on their menu is great. The ice cream is really good, and customer service is great too.

This deserves a 5 star! The small town of Davis has this one ice cream shop that would make you remember your stay in west virginia. They got quite a long list of flavors you can choose from and a long line of customers that couldn't wait to taste their ice cream. They have a bunch of topping choices you can add on your plain vanilla ice cream. But getting a vanilla ice cream in a cone is good enough to satisfy your ice cream craving. It is smooth, creamy and they serve it generously! My tastebuds went Clap! Clap! Clap!

They have as quirky atmosphere here with art and other items that decorate the shop. Seating inside can get competitive, and there are chairs on the front porch. Menu was interesting and the service efficient.

We stopped here after leaving the nearby state park. They only serve soft serve, but it was quite good. It was done in a way we haven't seen in a while.

Was only steps away from this shop when i was yelping for icecream place .
