A blower door is a powerful fan that mounts into the frame of an exterior door. The fan pulls air out of the house, lowering the air pressure inside. The higher outside air pressure then flows in through all unsealed cracks and openings. The auditors may use a smoke pencil to detect air leaks. These tests determine the air infiltration rate of a building.
How are we able to provide Home Energy Efficiency Improvements through utility sponsored programs in Texas? The Public Utilities Commission requires utilities to administer energy savings programs, which are implemented through retail electric providers and energy efficiency service providers such as e3 Solutions.
Having Proper insulation in your attic will help reduce your energy bills. In most houses, it is easier to get complete coverage of the attic floor with blown-in loose-fill insulation. It is best to hire an insulation contractor for this job. Loose-fill insulation must be prevented from shifting into vents or from contacting heat-producing equipment (such as recessed lighting fixtures).
Properly insulated exterior walls in your house will not only increase comfort but also help you save on heating and cooling costs. For energy savings, you can add insulation to your walls in an existing house. If you're building a new house, you have many energy-efficient wall insulation options to consider.

I get a short email saying that they only do insulation in McKinney, TX. Full services are available in Arkansas. Their website says differently but I respond with, "great, I need insulation." I didn't hear
