Situated on the Caratoke Highway (NC-168), we are among the first - and last - large independent companies tourists see when visiting the Outer Banks. Our bright green-and-white awnings and open store plan make a distinctive image, and we've done a lot to live up to our customers' expectations. We also maintain a family-friendly atmosphere that makes us as popular with the locals as well as with out-of-towners.

On our grounds are extensive greenhouses that shelter a wide range of flowers. No matter the size of your house, deck, or yard, you'll find something perfect to take with you. Our selection changes often, usually with the change of each growing season. Below is a fair sample of what we keep regularly, but be sure to check in for special items and offers!

Nearly all of our outdoor flowers are perennials, which bloom regularly during certain periods of the year. Ours have been especially selected to survive the weather conditions particular to coastal North Carolina. Such plants are hardy and particularly resistant to drought, sandy soil, and acidic soil.

In conjunction with The Rose Tree, we stock a variety of plants that are happy to stay indoors. Whether you have a small place to fill by your window or if you need something a little larger, we have just what you need. Our Greenhouse staff is quite knowledgeable, and will be happy to tell you which plants are in bloom in the current season.

To properly enjoy your garden, a few items of furniture can go a long way to put your body and mind at ease. Our outdoor furniture is weather resistant and tough enough to survive a few knocks - eastern NC is prime hurricane area, after all. Made of tough molded plastic, our deck chairs are durable while remaining comfortable to sit in at all hours.
