Jones Lumber Company was started in 1928 by William Haydn Jones, a hardworking Welshman from Van Wert, OH. The company was previously known as The Jones Lumber & Coal Company as coal was in great demand. In the late 1950s, the name was amended to have "coal" removed from it. In 1986, Evan Jones, who is a 3rd-generation member and sole owner of the business, decided to emphasize the millwork side of the business.

This is my third or fourth time coming to Jones Lumber. The staff members are welcoming and they always look after you. Mr. Perez always ask questions to make sure you are getting what is needed and the best price possible. . There is always a friendly conversation and great customer service. Also their prices are better that the other commercial stores.

These guys are the BEST! I had a small bathroom project that I was working on and needed some wood cut into strips for paneling. They were more than willing to help me out and offered a few different options for pricing etc. I couldn't be more happy with the quality of their work (fast/reliable/kind).

Old school small yard! Call for a price on a special order board. Not only did they actually call back quickly with a price. She also said although not in their inventory they thought there was one in the yard. Walked in 7:30 am next morning, paid & board was cut and loaded on my way home by 7:45. Very fair prices, great service. Support old local and get out of the big box stores!

I arrived mid morning on a Tuesday. I experienced helpful customer service and the willingness to help a simple homeowner. After a short wait, my lumber arrived via forklift and they assisted with loading it into the back of my truck. The total cost of the lumber was cheaper than going to
Home Depot and I received straight boards. Overall, I am very happy with my experience. One thing that people need to understand is that this is a Lumber Yard, not a Home Depot. They have a system for helping customers. Be patient and they will help you. If you want that slam bam in and out experience, Home Depot

They are terrible here! they are big lumber company that uses there retail area to dump damaged goods. People - inspect your wood before you sign or take delivery. They sold me crap and wouldn't give me back my cash$ and know I have to waist more time with there office people to get a check.... Uneducated, NONE Mannered retards here...

First time ordering with Jones Lumber. Christian Perez helped with the my order. Made the ordering process nice and easy. The prices were great as well. That I was kinda not sure of everything. But everything went great. Delivery was very punctual. Was impressed over all with the service. We look forward to continue doing business with Christian @ Jones Lumber.
