Although the phrase is used in old tales, it's origin comes from a very real part of the human body: the Achilles tendon.
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is located in the knee and can be injured or torn when it is harshly twisted in the wrong way. ACL tears are especially common in athletes, including those who participate in sports such as gymnastics, football, soccer, tennis, or downhill skiing. All these sports require sudden stops and changes in direction, making the risk higher for twisting the knee the wrong way and sustaining an ACL injury.

Few months ago I started to have pain in my lower back , left shoulder and hip. My Orthopedic Dr suggested me to see a Physical Therapist. I decided to go to Gulf Shore Physical Therapy Center ,after I red all it’s great reviews .

What a kind, thorough, and helpful group of therapists, and what a well-equipped and pleasant facility. After my knee replacement HOME therapy, I felt quite discouraged. Doing physical therapy at Gulf Shores PT turned everything around for me.
I really appreciated the initial intake session, which was friendly yet thorough and professional. Their new facility has a warm, relaxed feel when you enter.
The therapists are wonderful people to work with. Tony and Eric both kindly and firmly pushed me out of my comfort zone and into a more ambitious recovery. Although I did not work as much with Jake

Fabulous experience! I had my ankle reconstructed from a fall…. Had called other places first but always got an answer machine and was never called back. Here the phone was answered by a person and she fit me in the next week! All the therapist are friendly and very helpful. Push you in a nice way to be the best you can be… I couldn’t recommend Eric, Tony , Phillipe and their team more! They were awesome! 👍👍Thank you everyone!! 💕💕

I had a difficult to diagnose and treat rib cage muscle injury that my doc said I'd have to play through. Luckily I found Gulf Shore and was teamed up with Felipe Carbonell. At first I was skeptical, but he asked me a ton of questions like an investigator and found the primary cause of the injury and the right course of action. He put together a set of exercises and videos that got to the issue. He cut short my rehab and I'm back at 100%. Thanks Felipe ! And yes I am continuing to work on those areas that caused me the issue in the first place.

The staff, facilities, and treatment are all top notch at Gulf Shore. Gulf Shore Physical Therapy Center is the place to go for great physical therapy and healing with experienced and caring people, who return you to health, strength, and well-being. Gulf Shore is welcoming, clean, well equipped, and provides a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere in which to fully recover. As true professionals, they know what they are doing as they guide you gently and easily back into wholeness. This is my second time back after a three years gap, and, Tony and his team continued to provide excellent individual guidance helping me to regain my physical abilities and strength.
