Dr. Paul Funk opened Funk Chiropractic more than 40 years ago. His parents were living near Sacramento, and Dr. Paul visited Yuba City and decided it was a great place to start a practice. He and his wife moved to Yuba City just before their son, Dr. Jason Funk, was born. Dr. Jason joined his father in practice upon his graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic.

I'm torn. I understand that you are a business and need to make money. But Mr Funk made me feel like the customer is only seen as a Monetary asset because you kept telling me and trying really hard to convince me what I should do because if I don't take it now insurance might not cover it later.

The BEST Chiropractor, hands down! 👐 I thought that numbness in my hand was a fact of life I had to deal with, but Dr. Funk knew better! Within 2 visits, I had full dexterity of my hand and the numbness went away! It was a miracle! I am now in the process of getting my knee worked on (I am a hot mess 😆) and I have complete faith in Dr. Funk to help with that as well.

So, let me begin by saying that I am sort of writing this review for Laura and myself because, let’s face it folks.. she’s not the brightest bulb in the box.. but, she’s funny so I keep her around. Now, on to the review..
I had always had a slight fear of chiropractors. This was due in part to the horror stories I have always been told as a child and into my teen years, so when I went to Dr. Funk’s office the first time, I was a bit apprehensive. However, that all faded pretty quickly once I was introduced to the amazing staff. The front office ladies are very professional and pure entertainment

Very disappointed in them, when I called to schedule an appointment for my husband they told me that the doctor I specifically asked for worked there and he didn’t. My husbands appointment was very rushed and he started to have a lot of pain and worse pain only a few hours after getting adjusted. They want the money an don’t care much about taking their time. Also funk tried making my husband look stupid when my husband corrected him on something was very unprofessional. Will not be going back.

I was victim in a rear end accident. I was in so much pain from my neck to my tailbone. I didn't want anyone at all touching my back. Thanks to Dr. Jason Funk and 1.5 months in his care, I feel fully restored. It has been a great and blessed experience!! A GREAT asset to our community!!

Friendly front desk staff. Always greets me with a smile and calls me by my nickname! I adore them! :-) Dr. Funk exceeded my expectations and actually restored mobility to my neck! I couldn't be more pleased! He fully explained the issue with my shoulder and helped me to understand my options. Patricia gives excellent massages that help to relieve muscle tension areas. She is very kind and considerate and will adjust to your needs. If you need some quick relief, I highly recommend the hydro-massage table. It's amazing! No undressing required. Great stress reducer. Dr. Funk provides great comprehensive

Dr Funk not only adjusts his patients, he adjusts to his patient's needs. He is a fine practitioner and a good listener. Funk adjusts his style to accommodate patients feedback. Matt is an EXCELLENT massage therapist who is extremely knowledgable in various modes of massage. Both Dr. Funk and Matt give excellent advice on how to build on success achieved in the office by exercise to do at home.

Dr. Funk and staff are extremely professional and welcoming! I have been going for at least 8 years now. I have never had a bad experience! I waited way too long to seek care, thinking it was too expensive, but Dr. Funk is extremely affordable! I have always felt better after each appointment, and usually go months between visits. I can not recommend Dr. Funk enough! His care will POSITIVELY change your life!!!

Dr. Funk was extremely helpful with my first visit. He explained everything i needed to know and created a longterm plan to help my body recover and heal. He was extremely nice and professional and seemed very knowledgeable along with the rest of his staff. I would recommend this facility to anyone searching for any chiropractic work.
