Online ordering was a success to the point quite a few people didn't even get out of their car! We will probably offer the online ordering at some of our street vending events - especially where some customers may only have 30 minutes for lunch. We weren't shocked by the popularity results - the Sting was the most popular followed closely by the Buffalo Chicken.
The customers were an even mix of new to repeat. Some customers that lived nearby stopped every Friday! Again, thanks so much to those that stopped buy and picked up pizza. See everyone next season. It has been an exciting time for Wood Fired Flatbreads. We've learned so much along the way and we've met so many great people that love pizza. Our ongoing commitment is to continually improve - efficiency, flavor profiles and more. We feel we are the perfect mix of talent combining operations and a passion for great pizza.
Our take on the classic red sauce and cheese pizza. Our red sauce is a fresh, robust Stanislaus Pizzaiolo sauce that is zesty with a great tomato flavor. Our four cheese topping is a house blend of mozzarella, provolone, Asiago and cheddar. The combination of cheeses imparts a great flavor that works very well with the red sauce.
We have not been working until we felt the health department, the public and Wood Fired Flatbreads truly understood how to operate safely in these risky times. Newly scheduled public events will be in Pink. Here's the Wood Fired Flatbreads schedule of events for the 2020 season. Anyone can come to our public (green) and festival (purple) events.
While our menu is focused on pizza, we are also able to provide excellent salads, appetizers, small plates and desserts for those of you that desire a more extensive dining experience. The first section covers the sauces and toppings we offer. Regardless of which catering package you are considering, all come with your choice of toppings.
Our focus on old world artisan pizza creates an experience that is unmatched by other caterers. Any guest can watch us hand stretch dough, build a pizza and then fire it in an 1000oF wood fired oven for ~90 seconds. And it doesn't stop with incredible pizza & flatbreads, we can deliver fresh specialty salads, appetizers and desserts for a complete dining experience!

I've only been here once, but the margherita pizza was very good. Pretty close to a traditional margherita. The Italian sausage is also very good. Kind of an out of the way spot on Lowrie's Run Road, but it would definitely be worth checking out. Currently they are only open on Wednesdays and Fridays between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. I am assuming these hours will change soon due to the change of the seasons.

I received samples of their product. Absolutely amazing. Perfect smoke ring… amazingly tender and the seasoning is spot on. Not over nor under seasoned. Right where it should be. The smoke flavor is not overwhelming and compliments the flavor of the meat. Absolutely blown away! I’ll be ordering from them many more times this summer! The pizza is out of this world as well! I ordered the margarita and the Buffalo chicken pizza. Both were extremely flavorful and crispy. I would highly recommend checking out this truck! I did eat the pizza shortly after it came out of the oven and it was not soggy at all, so I'm not sure how it would travel if you didn't eat it right away.

Fantastic! My spouse and I hired Wood Fired Flatbreads for our wedding reception at the Lodge at North Park and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Their pizza (as well as their range of appetizers and salads) are delicious, the staff is fantastic and Kim Fitzpatrick, the owner, is extremely responsive and diligently works to accommodate the needs of her clients. Highly recommend!

Hiring Wood Fired Flatbreads was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding! We had a change of heart about our catering choices just 6 weeks before our wedding and they came to the rescue without missing a beat. I can't tell you how many guests have told me how delicious the food was and asked for a referral.

My favorite pizza!!!
I first encountered this fabulous food at an art fair.
I followed the incredible aroma of wood fired pizza to an ever growing line of people. Some were saying it was the best others anxious to try it for the first time.
The line moved quickly as I watched each delighted customer walk away with their custom made pie that looked as delicious as it smelled!
While waiting, it was interesting to watch the professional team in action. They were so efficient and friendly.
When I was served my very own pizza, it exceeded my expectations. ..one bite and I was hooked!

I had Wood Fired Flatbread serve Pizza and Wings for an Customer Appreciation event and everything turned out perfect. Not only was the communication between businesses great, they also made the selection process simple! We had multiple customers asking about how we found such fantastic food for the event and if they could use them in the future. Word of mouth spreads quickly when you have as fantastic food like Wood Fired Flatbread! I will be using them in the future again and recommend them to anyone who wants great food and great service!

OMG a pizza I looked for all my life...as perfect as you can find. Chewy thin slightly chard crust that is sturdy enough to hold the toppings, tomato sauce that tasted homemade and delicious, just enough cheese to satisfy ( not a chewy cheese like bubble gum pulling to the ceiling) and finally a pinch or two of fresh cut basil. I added pepperoni to the second Margherita pizza and was in heaven. You gotta go find this truck. No kidding..I am HOOKED.

So Good! A interesting menu of about 4 pies with a Bianco, Margherita, Formaggi and Tennessee Pig. I know they have some others but today these were available. The Tennessee Pig peaked my interest. It has smoked bacon and smoked Gouda cheese drizzled with Jack Daniels infused pure maple syrup and topped with walnuts and dabs of ricotta cheese. Really enjoyed the combination of flavors. It was a little on the sweet side but since we were sharing the size was about right.

They catered my wedding on 4/30/2016. If I had to do it all again, I would definitely have them cater it again. I had 65 guests and every single one complimented me on the pizza (and salad)
We got the Petite Package with the Tennessee Pig and Gorgonzola Filet. Caramelized Walnut, Cranberry, with Gorgonzola and Champagne Dressing Salad and Italian Salad.
I wish I would have ordered more of the CWCGCD Salad, even the squares liked it ;) and I wish I would have been able to take flatbread to go.
The venue owner fudged and didn't reserve a spot out front for the truck but Kim and the crew

I received a response from the owner of Wood Fired Flatbreads apologizing for our bad experience, explaining that the employee in question is no longer with the company, and offering us free pizzas at this year's Little Italy Days event. This is truly excellent customer service and much more akin to the wonderful first experience we had with them in 2014. We will definitely be going back this year!

I was drawn in by the flames of the authentic wood fired oven and the delightful smell of garlic and fresh herbs.
After studying all the options, I decided on the white pie with spinach and mushrooms and I was very happy with my choice. It had just the right amount of garlic and the toppings were fresh and cooked to perfection! I loved this pizza !!!

I stopped by their stand with some friends at Bloomfield Little Italy Days last Fri. I saw their wood-fired pizza oven trailer the evening before, at which time I decided that I'd like to try their pizza when I returned. Fortunately, they were still there the next evening!
