If you would like to schedule your hair extensions consultation or any other hair service please go to the Appointment Page. My salon location, tucked away in Boston's waterfront district and neighboring the historic North End, is easily accessible by public transportation or by car. We're just a five minute walk from North Station, or 10 minutes from Haymarket.
Please keep a few things in mind before booking your hair extensions appointment. A consultation is required before the actual hair extensions application. I will need to see your hair, know what type of hair and how much we will need, and most importantly what color to custom order for your hair to look flawless.
Working in some of the most prestigious salons in Boston and New York City gave me the privilege and opportunity to learn from the best European and American masters in the industry. I am a Goldwell and Wella certified colorist, a master stylist and a certified extensions specialist.

Expertise, a true talent combining the right color, high lights and low lights. Placement of each Keratin bond and tape extensions for a beautiful natural look. This was worth the time and money. By far the best thing I have done for myself all year!. This team is committed to excellence and truly personable experience.Great location, very clean, modern decor. My experience at Extology was wonderful and I highly recommend this salon. I sought out extensions because I had a botched haircut the week before at a different salon that would literally take a year to grow out back to normal. I thought there was no saving my hair, but my stylist Kriscia worked some serious magic. She was attentive, professional, and highly skilled. Her work is seamless—you can't even tell you have extensions in. My long locks are back and I finally feel like myself again. A BIG thank you to the Extology team!

Alana and everyone at Extology are amazing. After a really bad experience last summer (2020) with hand tied wefts (no they are not for everyone) and damage to my hair ..I gave up on extensions being for someone with fine thin hair. A month before my wedding my stylist suggested Alana to give me that dream princess hair. Not only did she work me into the schedule we went over options. I found Extology Salon through a very intense search for hair extensions. Over the past few years - age and the chemo-preventative I’ve been on for the past 3 1/2 years had thinned out my once thick hair. I wasn’t necessarily looking for length, but volume. Kelcee fixed my hair, did an amazing job, and gave me exactly what I asked for! I asked for her to lighten my hair more, give me an ashy tone, and keep my dark roots! She did such a great job!
