I am so grateful to Huntree for being open and for following guidelines so well. It is not fun to have to do everything the long way and to wear a mask all day long. I know it must be hard to deal with customers who cannot seem to care about this community. I feel for you.Know that so many of us do appreciate your efforts. I am shocked at how little some folks know about transmitting disease. Immunity is not apparent to other people, so don't expect people in businesses to take your word. If you truly are immune and you are going store to store, you still can spread disease by handling things

This is my favorite nursery! Not just because of their wonderful plants, but because of their service. They really do care about their customers and staff, and are being very careful to follow the governor's guidelines with signs posted posted outside (that are not angry at all), and large enough to see before you enter the store. I was there 3 days ago and was so glad to be back and talk with the owner, who wore a mask herself as did all her staff. Like many Michigan residents, we care equally about protecting others, and since there is no way to know if those who don't wear masks

My husband and I arrived at Huntree at 5:01pm. There were two staff outside helping another customer. We we're the only other people there. The staff saw us and instead of greeting us asking what they could help us with, they hurried inside and locked the doors to close. Since they were only open till 5:00pm, they just couldn't spare five more minutes to help us and make some more money. I couldn't believe it.

This is a wonderful nursery owned by a really nice couple who employ a highly knowledgeable staff, all of whom can provide extensive information about everything carried here.
I love it that they have very big, healthy plants, and also have different things than just the typical plants and trees carried everywhere. They do have the popular things, too, but you can also find trees and plants you don't find everywhere else.
Prices are marginally higher than other places, but for the size, health, and selection of their plants, shrubs, trees, you absolutely get what you pay for.

Had such a great experience. Called Jan to ask about stock before we drove from Chicago- totally worth the trip, they helped us fit 5 Boxwood into our car, and were extremely helpful! Will definitely go back, and recommend for great service! Wish I knew the name of the man in the yard who helped so much to make everything fit! Thanks!
