Earl was so easy to work with. We loved his energy, his willingness to accommodate our song requests, and he was very affordable compared to other DJ's in the business. He was flexible on many things such as MC'ing games for our event and even took pictures for us! He's got an amazing personality and spirit and we wholeheartedly recommend him to entertain your next event. He also has great communication skills and returns calls and messages promptly. It has been a few day's since the Star Wars Surprise High School Graduation Party and I just received photos from the photographer. I've been looking forward to jumping on Yelp to tell you all about Earl! Not only did he make booking easy, he even came to meet me and discuss the details of the event, style of music and overall theme. DJ Earl was awesome at my in-law's 50th wedding anniversary party this past weekend. I was fortunate to have found him last minute (about 3 weeks before the event) on Yelp. He was always very prompt in returning emails which made coordination very easy. He came out to the venue ahead of taking the job just to make sure he could get his equipment there. At first, I was hesitant to book him, but hey it was my husband's job, so I trusted him, and that was the best decision in my life as was marrying my husband. DJ Earl did an amazing job with a difficult client we worked with in June. On top of that, it was 105 degrees out and Earl was a real trooper.

Although he got very little info about the music choices from the couple ahead of time, he winged it and had the dance floor packed all night with a variety of ages and cultures.

He gave us a comprehensive guide to what types of music to pick for the ceremony through the reception, let's you add any additional music choices if he doesn't have them in his library, and most importantly....is very gracious when you have to cancel your event. If my wedding proceeds in the next year, I will definitely still use his services!!

Earl was our DJ for my sister's wedding and he was 100% awesome. Professional, responsive to emails, prompt, organized, timely with agenda, easy to work with, thorough, clear, no surprises, flexible, kind...just some of the qualities that made my sister's special day the best it could be. What makes Earl different ? He knows music. He knows people. He understands music and people and music is a passion - a mighty passion for him. I had a TV show years ago and wanted to use a tune to open the show and could not find the name of the tune so I could get permission. Earl is super friendly, accommodating, and awesome to work w/. He even opened another outlet for payment since my company card would not allow PayPal transactions.

I got to Billy Berk's about 45 minutes prior to the start of our event and he was already set-up. He came equipped w/ water and I think he had coffee, too. I stopped by a few times to ask him to join us for dinner but he declined.

Im so glad to have Earl to be our dj for our wedding! He is friendly, professional, super organized and calm. During our wedding he was constantly communicating with our photographer, videographer and venue coordinator to keep every in order behind the scene! He knows what songs to play to get the people start dancing.

Earl is definitely one of the best DJ/MC. We just had our wedding at a Chinese restaurant. If anyone has ever been to a Chinese style reception, you will know how chaotic it can be. Earl was very good at working with my bridal party, very accommodating to all the changes and maintained the pace of the evening. Earl also has very good taste in music. We basically let him choose all the music at our reception and they were all great.

Earl at San Jose DJ lended his services at our wedding and we were truly impressed!
