I've been photographing weddings in Seattle since 2008, as well as portraits for engagements, amilies, seniors & everything involving babies (fur babies too!) My approach to photography is open, light, and gently prompted, resulting in images that are genuine. I would have moved my wedding date to ensure that Jenny would be our photographer.

I've been photographing weddings around Seattle since 2008. I want to produce images that show all of the joy of your wedding day, that show how amazing your family is and just how sweet life can be. Weddings are groovy and I love people. As someone who came out and came of age in the 80s, it was hard to see myself represented at weddings.
From couples and engagement photography to maternity, birth, family, and senior photos, I am here for you and I see you in whatever form your chosen family exists. Jenny GG is the best family photographer in the area. She has done my family's photos since my oldest was a baby, photographed the birth of my second baby and family portraits in between.

Jenny is a treasure. She just gets it. She will make you relax and laugh; she brings out your best self. And she knows how to make you look GOOD. She helped my fianc and me work through our insecurities in the engagement shoot, which made us feel more relaxed and prepared for taking pics on the wedding day.
I focus on creating intimate portraits that are rarely posed and often playful. Getting creative with angles, lighting, and the environment help me capture those moments. I've been the chick with the camera since I was a teenager, but I've been capturing weddings, family portraits, births, graduations, and other joyful moments in my clients' lives since 2008.

Jenny GG is the best family photographer in the area. She has done my family's photos since my oldest was a baby, photographed the birth of my second baby (and I imagine she flew down given how fast she got to the hospital after being called on a Sunday morning), and family portraits in between. She never fails to make my kids smile and somehow manages to get _that_ shot. You know, that perfect shot you can't even understand how it happened because you're standing off to the side trying to mentally WILL your kids into cooperating but... in the end, there's this perfect photo and you're relieved

I can't say enough good things about Jenny. She is very bubbly, personable, and easy to be comfortable around. My husband and I can both be camera shy but Jenny was able to capture natural and beautiful photos of us and our wedding. She has an incredible eye for detail and I love all of the candid shots she was able to get throughout our big day. I can't recommend her enough! Jenny is absolutely fantastic. Professionally and personally. I wouldn't call my husband and I "photogenic" and she was so patient, loving and fun that we ended up with so many great photos for our engagement shoot as well as our wedding. I found Jenny randomly on the internet. I loved the reviews she had and asked her to come take family photos for us. I knew the second I talked with her on the phone that it was a wonderful match! She has the most calming demeanor matched with a joyful personality, making it a wonderful duo for managing photo shoots (especially with kids!). We could not be happier with our wedding photos. Jenny's ability to tell a story with her candid shots was the highlight of our day. Our guests loved her and we can't wait to have her photograph other events for us. I was super impressed with the extra time she put in getting to know us and talking through what kind of photos we wanted. Jenny was the photographer for our daughters new years eve wedding. She was assisted by her partner. She did a phenomenal job. My favorite photos are the ones she took of the couple around old Ballard. Just perfect in every way. All the usual wedding shots were covered and she has an exceptional eye for candid shots. We hired Jenny to capture family photos with our 8 month old in the Arboretum with the beautiful fall leaves as a backdrop. Jenny is a wonderful photographer and knew how to work with our daughter and my husband and my lack of ability to act candidly. She took my vague direction (baby. arboretum. leaves. mostly candid.) and the photos turned out beautifully and exactly how I was hoping! Her prices are also reasonable and the packages include high resolution digital photos (this was a requirement for us - I refuse to pay extra for digital "originals"!) Jenny shot our engagement and wedding photos this year and we just couldn't be happier. She does beautiful work, she's professional and responsive, all that. But most importantly she is lovely to work with and a wonderful presence to have around. Stop what you are doing right now and book her! We have Jenny shooting our wedding in July, and she shot our engagement photos. She is funny, upbeat and genuine. Take comfort knowing she is the one behind the camera. I originally found her here on yelp, and the reviews don't lie. Jenny is amazing. Her photos are so beautiful people come out of the woodwork to tell you they're the best wedding photos they've ever seen! Jenny helps everyone relax and enjoy the moment instead of feeling like a mannequin being set into this position and that. She's also fabulous dealing with children, relatives, and mothers alike! Hire Jenny. Seriously, just hire her! A lot of photographers are a bit cheaper but I guarantee none of them are as kind, friendly, and professional as Jenny. Her work is absolutely amazing and she goes above and beyond what we asked of her. Here shots are absolutely gorgeous and she captures all of those moments you might miss on your big day (wedding or otherwise!).

All I can say is Jenny is amazing! From the initial email/ call to my photoshoot she was fabulous. When I met her on my shoot day she made me instantly feel comfortable. She was there doing the poses and then asked me to do them as well. She have great directions (I had no clue how to pose) and the pictures turned out awesome!
