I have been lucky enough to be able to work directly with Jack and Judy and also have purchased many items from them over the years. The owners of Antique Trader, Jack and Judy, are very honest, friendly and knowledgeable. They've helped me several times determining whether or not some of my "treasures" were marketable. Once while I was visiting the store I happened to mention to Jack that I had some coins that I thought might be collectible. Even though I knew that he didn't market coins, and probably would rather not deal with such a small item, Jack went out of his way to personally drive me to a nearby coin dealer that he knew was reputable. I was able to make a little spare cash selling my coin collection to that dealer

It is the end of an era with the Antique Trader closing after 45 years in business! Jack and Judy, the owners, are well known in the trade here for their expertise, the quality of their merchandise and great prices. I have purchased lovely antique English furniture, screens, and decorative items from the Antique Trader over the years and continue to enjoy my purchases. Most recently, the Antique Trader helped me decide how to dispose of some sterling silver items which I no longer needed. Judy was able to get me a great price with a metal dealer due to connections in the trade.

I met the owners of the Antique Trader a few years ago and am impressed by their vast knowledge of antiques - everything from silver to postcards to Native American items.
