Would not recommend. Menu says 6 crab legs for the crab leg dinner, only given 3. Other people in my party got the steak and crab only were given 2 crab legs when they were supposed to have 3. the mashed potatoes were cold and tastes like instant mashed and the steak was all fat. Had to pay full price for getting half of our meals. 2 forks down

I was greeted by some pretty friendly front end staff and our party of 4 virtually had no wait. At first I thought the place was packed because parking wasn't the best. Even though the parking here at the new place was 10 times better than the old place, but between the piles of snow and the lack of people knowing how to park ( as I watched a middle aged man take up two spots after a 5 point turn - smh ), the restaurant was very spacious.
The prices on the menu were totally reasonable.

We had a great experience on Friday night. We arrived a little before the dinner rush, fortunately, as it got really busy shortly afterwards. We enjoyed a beer at the bar, served by Matt the bartender. He was professional and attentive but not over the top. He gave us menus and explained the special of the day. He seemed so knowledgeable that you'd think he was one of the owners.
We liked the atmosphere so much that we decided to stay longer and we ordered some appetizers: fresh oysters and shrimp skewers. We didn't have to wait long and both dishes were delicious.

Awful experience. First off, I had to use ramp to enter which was very icy. My husband and I had 6:30 pm reservations and never left until after 8:30 pm. Service was terrible. Waitied 15 minutes for our drinks. The food, once we finally got it, was good. The last straw was when we tried to pay the bill with out debit card, they wouldn't take it. We had to use credit card!!! Good food does not make up for terrible customer service. Will not be returning.

Well decided to give this place a 2nd try and was very disappointed again from start to finish. Started at the bar we ordered beer to start which was a Miller Lite which tasted very bad and when the bottle cap was taken off had some kind of weird brown slime when wiped with a napkin almost like the bottle's were sitting in water or something? Nasty! Thought it was only one bottle so asked fo another one and was the same. Also ordered a Molson Canadian and tasted old and warm. So we get seated in a room off the bar which was freezing and on top of that a door in that room kept opening and closing

This was my first time at this establishment. And I am very glad that Amherst has a seafood restaurant like this. There are very few privately owned (ie, not Red Lobster) seafood restaurants in Amherst. There is definitely talent in the kitchen. All of the fish and seafood was appropriately cooked. Not at all overdone, and everything properly seasoned. In fact, if I was only evaluating the cuisine, this Restaurant would've earned a fourth star. The problems were minor, but they added up. Starting with making reservations, which I did, and which they couldn't find when we got to the restaurant

Great location!!! First time at the new location. It is much better than before! Salmon was great. My husband had the lobster tacos which were awesome!!! My sister had the king crab legs. They were great! My brother in law had lobster And crab legs!!! He ate the whole thing!!! Appetizers were very good! Lobster wrapped in bacon with onion rings and banana peppers breaded and deep fried. Those were really good too! Plus we had chocolate mousse 🍰 cake!!! Yummy!!! Definitely be back! Our server was excellent!

First, make reservations! This building is huge compared to the last location and it was packed. We had table reservations but decided to sit at the bar. Steph was great. Very attentive and a great personality. The bruschetta bread was good but cold. I prefer the cheese and tomato/garlic mix baked. I ordered the bacon wrapped lobster bites to be served with my steak, not as an appetizer. But they came out with the bruschetta. The very small lobster pieces were chewy and the bacon was overcooked. I wouldn't order them again. My steak was good. My friends lobster was delicious.

My husband and I went to lunch here - our second time. Food is great. Love those fancy fries. The dining area was very clean and bright. Lots of nice seating - you are not in top of anybody. We would have given 5 stars if it wasn’t for the entry area. There were random chairs, boxes and the stairway carpet needs replacing. But… to be fair, we know it is early and we trust this will be improved in time.

Food wasn't served "temperature" hot. Discovered Wings are precooked and warmed up. We we're served cold "cooked" drums. Chowder was barely warm. Meals were good. Place was just too busy (Friday night) for service to keep up. Our waitress had to go behind the bar to make our drinks because the bar was so backed up. Maybe the price paid for too much success with challenging staffing issues. Waitress was excellent in trying to make things right (free round of drinks and offered to reheat items... very apologetic...and shared that they were understaffed...not a surprise there).

Ehhh. I mean it's hard to screw up lobster so I'll give them a pass on that. We ordered some apps before the meal and it was frozen stuff we could have gotten anywhere and when served us was still a little cold.
They had no more crab and service was slow. I get businesses are struggling now to find people to work but the combo of slow service, turning people away and not having enough sea food is a bit much.
I'll give it another chance once things get back to normal. Hopefully gore stars will be coming. I'll chalk the apps up to cutting costs for COVID too.

First off I'd like to give credit where credit is due, so if you're going to two Forks Up for the lobster and crab they were Good. On the flip side we had a larger party that order three steaks two of the three ordered steaks were not the correct cut of meat and none of them were cooked as desired. When brought to the waiters attentions they did not make it right and waited till they brought the bill out to even address the issues which they did by sending out another waitress to tell our party that they were severed the right steaks and in insincerely apologized we felt that way. We were there for the first time a Thursday evening on a beautiful sunny day. The drive from downtown Buffalo to Getzville via the Thruway was pleasant even at rush hour. At arrival we were surprised at the apparent rural setting of the location, because it is so close to the university on a major road. Parking looked tight, but it was an optical illusion upon entering, because it was ample as we drove further in.

I was there due to people raving about the food. The meal I had was unacceptable the first time the plate was brought out to me .... steak, mashed potatoes were cold. I was given a replacement this time the steak was seared and still mooing when cut into it. Frustrated I asked for a box to take it home to cook properly.
I will say the oysters and lobster were good but not enough for me to go back there.

We tried this restaurant because we were looking for seafood! We sat outside and ordered our drinks while reviewing the menu. I ordered bowl of the corn shrimp chowder, my wife ordered a dozen oyster on the half shell and my son ordered the fried banana pepper rings. I ordered the fried fish sandwich and asked for well done fries. My wife ordered a cup of the clam and a dozen steamed clams for her dinner and my son ordered a cup of the chowder and the lobster roll. My corn chowder came out as a cup instead of a bowl so they gave me another cup to make up for their error, but I didn't love

This is not easy to write because I wanted to love this place. We stopped in yesterday for a very late lunch. There was a small groups of people throughout the restaurant. Our server was attentive to us, though he never noticed the appearance of what he was bringing to the table.
The lobster roll was anemic. It lacked any sort of abundance, flavor, & was very dry. The roll was not toasted or buttered. The fries were good(that was my lunch).
New England clam chowder, two thumbs down. The taste, consistency, & color were way off. Thin & greasy tan colored broth.

For that price we were worried they might be small lobsters, but they were a good size! And cooked perfectly! To our friend's entertainment, we stripped every piece of meat we could find from the shell. It was an extremely satisfying meal for two people to share! The waitress and other servers were quite nice as well and quick to bring us anything we asked for.

Birthday seafood!!! I went out with my bf and my friend to get some yummy seafood. We carefully pick a restaurant. Ok really it was my friend. She scooped up the place. She picked a good one. I really enjoyed the food. We sat outside in patio and they actually has an outside heater too. So it's comfy. My friend got a combo steak and king crab while my bf and I decided on 2 lobster. A good decision. I'm sooo full. It was cooked really good too. It was sweet and dip on butter, very satisfying! The price also very good for 2 lobsters it was $33 came with coleslaw, corn and small bread. I
