We are a small boutique florist, booking a limited number of events each year. Drawing inspiration from your vision, your venue, and what is seasonally-available, we will ensure your flowers are something you'll remember for years to come.

I'm Amy Westman, founder of Amy West Floral. I live in coastal Santa Cruz, CA with my husband, our chubby cat, and our crazy dog. My history with flowers goes back to my diaper days, toddling around my grandmother's yard "helping" her plant, and I've continued gardening for most of my life.
After moving into our current garden and discovering that there is such a thing as growing too many tomatoes, I switched most of my garden to growing flowers for our wedding, and sharing arrangements with everyone I could.Wedding planning appealed to my project management background, and I loved working with my amazing vendors to make sure every little detail was perfect for the big day.

Because flowers are seasonal and perishable, it may not be possible to get a specific flower for your event. We will do what we can to get your ideal flowers, but may need to substitute for something similar in the event of supply or quality issues. Any substitutions will be in line with your floral theme.

Amy is FABULOUS. We had the most wonderful experience with her from start to finish, and I cannot recommend her enough. Best florist ever! Amy is extremely nice and professional and more importantly, does gorgeous and unique flower arrangements, including floral tree wraps! We got so many compliments at our wedding over her flowers and her tree wrap was so amazing, everyone wanted pictures under it, with or without the bride and groom! She is very organized and kept up with all my indecisive and annoying changes, arrived on time and did everything perfectly. My only regret is not being able to take some of the flowers home with us since we lived 300 miles away from our wedding location and were driving a hot, unconditioned

I hired Amy to make small floral arrangements to add to the table centerpieces I created for my daughter's bat mitzvah, only a few weeks before the event date. She was so awesome to work with! I don't know anything about flowers, I told her the colors we wanted and what we liked and didn't like, and she translated that into gorgeous and cool arrangements that all our guests were talking about! They turned out beautifully, each one a little different than the others, incorporating the succulents we requested and adding the perfect finishing touch to our decor. Amy was very responsive

I don't know much about flowers, but I needed arrangements for staging my business for photos. I tried to describe what I wanted and all I could come up with was "neutral tones, greenery, and weird twigs". Well, what she delivered was more than I could have ever imagined. They perfectly complimented my business and really helped out photos look amazing. Even better, the arrangements lasted almost a month. We picked out flowers as they died but the greenery and twigs lasted so well, and the twigs even started blooming toward the end!
