Canto's organization features are designed to simplify how you store and manage your media library. Smart Albums automatically sort your digital assets by file types. Keywords and tags provide contextual labeling, and folders and albums offer powerful sorting options. Folders and albums provide customizable sorting options for your assets.
Share your assets with teammates and outside collaborators alike. Assets can be shared directly from Canto, either by email, expiring links, through social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, or to file storage services like Box, Dropbox and Google Drive. Portals are Canto's way of making digital asset management work for your organization.
Your brand identity is critical to the success of your company, so best to keep it managed with in-app brand guidelines, download presets, customized watermarks and an interface that's branded to your company's image. Set up a private or public digital style guide to easily share your brand colors, logos, sample imagery, typography and key messaging to keep everyone on brand and in sync.
Learn about the three available user roles and their functions: Administrators, Contributors and Consumers. Admins are in control of your Canto account. They're business users, not IT, who set permissions for other users, run detailed reports and customize the entire Canto experience.

Contributors can take advantage of Canto's many features, including uploading content, adding descriptive metadata and creating folders and albums to maintain your library's organization.Consumers are granted limited access to Canto. They can download, preview and share digital assets - but they can't edit content, upload files or adjust your Canto account.
