Originally from Syracuse, NY, Alex Quill is the founder of Quill Creative Event Design. With 8+ years of experience as a Lead Event Coordinator and Designer in Charlotte, Alex has insight into corporate and social events, as well as weddings. Alex earned her degree in Business Management at Coastal Carolina University, where she also served as captain of the cheerleading team.
We provide full service event planning and design to ensure that your wedding is one-of-a-kind. Because we only take on a limited number of weddings per year, you can rest assured that your wedding will receive the attention it deserves. With this full service package, we involve ourselves in every aspect from start to finish, ensuring that your big day is everything you dreamed it would be.
I have known Alex for several years and was thrilled when she was available to help coordinate a large non-profit event in Charlotte. Alex and her team made our dreams come to life! I could not recommend someone more. She went above and beyond and read my mind when it came to so many things. She knew every question to ask and how to portray all that we wanted.
I didn’t have to worry one bit on our special day. I knew that her and her team had everything covered. We were able to enjoy our guests and our party without worrying about small details.

Planning a wedding rehearsal dinner in an unfamiliar city 1,500 miles away seems like an invitation to disaster. Working with Alex and her team was the best decision we made regarding our wedding planning process! She was with us every step of the way providing her expert opinion, planning services, vendor communication, and day of coordinating. Okay! I CANNOT recommend Alex enough. Like her team is literally the best team you can have on your side. Somehow amidst my wedding Alex moved, planned her own wedding, and caught up on all these COVID weddings, and I literally had no idea because she makes you feel like you are her only wedding. Also, if you have a budget, Alex will work MIRACLES to keep you within/under budget. She literally got a dream venue to cut their price almost in half. Also, I had a freaking tropical storm on my wedding and Alex literally ran around the whole weekend to make sure that everything still went so so smoothly

Alex was such a blast to work with! My husband and I planned our SC/NC wedding 12 hours away; Alex made it such an effortless and stress-less way to plan the biggest day of ones life!
