BKR Productions is a professional Mobile DJ company which specializes in making your special events spectacular! We also provide custom Trivia Shows, Karaoke Shows, and Dance Floor Lighting packages. We also provide music/audio production as well. It was created in 1999 by Cris Ratkovic. The company is currently located in the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

Also in 2000, the San Jose Sharks Organization approached him to compose a special 10th anniversary theme (GODSPEAK - Puck This!, a DJ BKR music project) to be played in the Shark Tank before every game!

BKR Productions, Inc. has been a long standing member of the ADJA and follows their Code of Professional Conduct. Being a huge fan of DJ BKR's trivia and Karaoke nights (fantastic fun) we hired Cris for a birthday party we held for my husband's 40th. It was a great evening and Cris was able to engage everyone. Professional and creative, Chis showed up on time and kept everyone on the dance floor for hours. We definitely plan on hiring him again and plan to attend his trivia/karaoke nights in the meantime.

My now-wife and I have been going to Cris's bar trivia nights for almost 7 years, He inspires that sort of loyalty! His shows are always funny and great entertainment. I've brought friends along who are now regulars. Everyone insists that Cris's trivia is much less staid than typical bar trivia contests, as he interacts with the crowd and heckles the hecklers back. I've seen Cris DJ at Trivia Night at Fred's and love his humor and style, so decided to hire him to DJ a birthday party at our house. He is super professional and attentive, he played songs from my list as well as song requests from guests. He brought extra mics and really cool lights, and was mindful of DJ'ing at a private home in a residential neighborhood. He was also nice to consider my budget for a smaller private party. I would highly recommend him, such a cool and fun guy!!

This was the best experience we could ever ask for. We needed a DJ for our wedding and found Cris who not only helped us with the music but worked with our timeline to make our wedding wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure that we had the perfect day and the music was amazing. We told him the genre of music we liked and he helped to create a playlist. If you ever need a DJ for your wedding I would 100% recommend Cris.

Cris was absolutely the perfect DJ for our wedding. We met him at a local trivia and after getting to know him decided he'd be a fun fit for providing us all the fun tunes to the wedding! He did not disappoint. He's been in the industry for an awesome amount of time which gives him a ton of experience and familiarity with helping support the wedding.
He's extremely prepared and communicable, sending us song templates to get us started in building out the music for the entire night. He also helped guide us when we were stuck on decisions and shared song lists to keep us on track

Words really can't describe how impressed and happy my new husband and I were with DJ Cris on our wedding day. The moment we set a wedding date, we knew exactly who we wanted to be our DJ. We have known DJ Cris for some time now and have always been happy with how great he is at what he does. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding then look no further than Cris at BKR. My husband and I got married October 21st up in Napa and Cris and his assistant were amazing! My brother referred Cris to me after spending many nights at The Villa doing Trivia and Koaroke. Cris was an incredible DJ for our wedding at the Four Seasons! My favorite thing about him was that he took the time to sit down and meet with us to go over all of the music details. Literally every little thing you might not think of, he was on top of. We never once worried about the flow of the evening, and had a fantastic reception. I would absolutely recommend him for any event but especially for a wedding.

I really wish I could give Cris 10 stars! He is not only an INCREDIBLE DJ who kept the dance floor just packed the whole night - Cris makes everything fun - he takes the stress right out of the reception. He rolls with changes, has an awesome and positive attitude, and is a total professional. I was not excited about the music for my wedding. It was just one of those things that had to be there and quite frankly I was tortured about it, because my wedding was going to be a very small event, with a very wide range of kinds of people, and I knew from the beginning that dancing was probably going to be tortured and mostly people would skulk into corners and chat with each other. Cris is an awesome KJ!! Great music selection and he always tries to get people up singing quickly. Has been very accommodating to me every time I've been there. DJ BKR is AWESOME! I have followed him through his public DJ shows such as Moons After Dark. He always does an amazing job and follows the crowd. If they seem to be digging a certain type of music, he keeps it going. He has every type of music from newer club stuff to oldies. Whatever the occasion calls for! He is also a fabulous host and makes sure to get the crowd up and out of their seats. Dj BKR even did the DJing for free at my fundraiser for the breast cancer 3 Day. Good guy, GREAT DJ! If I ever need to hire my own private dj, BKR Productions is the first one I'm calling!
