Based in San Jose, the current team is led by Ms. Moyee Siu, who co-founded the clinic with Dr. Zhu in 2000. As Dr. Zhu's most senior student, Ms. Siu worked alongside Dr. Zhu for nearly three decades and collaborated tirelessly with him to teach Zhu's Scalp Acupuncture seminars around the world.

Thank you for your interest in Zhu's Neuro-Acupuncture and Rehabilitation Center, where healing and recovery begins! Patients can receive scalp acupuncture treatment in a natural sitting or lying position. Very fine, short needles are inserted superficially in the scalp and generally produce no pain or discomfort.
My wife suffered a significant stroke ~2.5 years ago which has impacted her ability to walk, talk and communicate. This is the 3rd location Dea has had physical & occupational therapy. Dea's ability to walk in the last year, while being treated at Dr. Zhu's excellent staff, has improved significantly.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Erick Chien.
Not only has he been taken care of my physical pain and sleep apnea, but also he is very lovely to speak with at every appointments. It’s rare to find a doctor combines such personal touches and care for a patient as a person with outstanding quality of medical care. I highly recommend becoming his patient.
Also, Deanna the office manager is very nice and sweet person. She makes sure all the patients are being well taken care of and also keeping the place very clean and tidy.

I gave this place 5 star. Everyone is really nice and accommodating. They really put there patients first than anything and the way they show compassion to what they do for the people is so rewarding to see. So happy to have found this place for my dad after his stoke. He is really happy to be here every time especially the care that he gets and the people that work there are amazing. During the month of February, I had a significant problem with my bladder and kidney stones. Dr. Moyee had not treated this type of health problem before. After consulting with her, she researched my condition and was able to diagnose the proper strategy to deal with the problem in my urinary tract.
Her outstanding care and concern, which included skull acupuncture and herbs, were most effective. I was able to avoid surgery.

Several years ago, I had a headache every day that lasted for years. After seeing a handful of doctors, all they could do is diagnose it as a chronic tension type headache and offer me heavy medications. Going to Dr. Zhu’s office for the first time the improvement was incredible, and after following up on treatments it was completely gone. The other doctors I saw only understood the symptoms and offered to treat those, but Dr. Moyee Siu understood the root of the problem and was able to fix it easily.

This place has excellent service. Everyone is nice, friendly, and knowledgeable. My husband feels really comfortable coming here to get his exercise in. The acupuncturist here are experienced and know what they’re doing. My husband had a stroke over a year and a half ago and he couldn’t do much. Now he is able to stand by himself, feels stronger, getting more confident, and walk with minimal assistance. The Daoyin therapist knows what they are doing as well as staying patient. Compared to other places, this place make us feel warm and welcoming every time we come in. I can’t thank them enough

We came from BC Canada 🇨🇦 for my 18 yr old daughter to get her scalp therapy following he brain injury and stroke. Erin enjoyed the humour and positive ways that the therapists pushed her and they had a lot of fun, tho it was hard work. I appreciated the great variety of tools and methods they used to help Erin get her hand and leg working again.
We both enjoyed coming every day. Everyone was so nice and pleasant and I felt like we were all friends. We will miss all the people, but especially we will miss DeAnna, Richie, and Long.

My 67 year-old husband had an ischemic stroke in early April, 2020. As he was learning to walk again, we asked our experienced Home-Health Physical Therapist about complementary therapies for stroke rehab, and she told us that many of her patients have commented on the great progress they made at Zhu's Neuro-Accupuncture and Rehab Center. We went there 5 weeks after the stroke and wish we had gone there sooner (as it is best to get treatment asap! - they can even make hospital visits!)

Our daughter, Diana Vu, has been diagnosing as an ataxia (unbalance standing and movement) and CP (cerebral palsy) since birth. During 15 years bypass, Diana went into many different children's hospitals to search for the right doctors to help her to stand up by herself and walk on her own. But the answers were hard work in Physical Therapies, still slow and little improvement. Mostly we gave up and accepted the way of her life forever.
