My husband, parents, and I loved working with Bud. Bud’s teaching methods were informative and fun. After working with Bud, my husband and I felt comfortable, confident, and excited for our first dance. We looked forward to our Tuesday night dance lessons that were equal parts practice and laughter and we miss having Bud in our weekly routine!

I was reluctant to schedule dance lessons before my wedding because the idea of "choreographed" dancing makes me really anxious. I told my fiance, if he wanted to get dance lessons he would have to find someone and plan it. Doing lessons with Bud was one of the best decisions that my wife and I made as far as wedding planning. Getting dance lessons from Bud Walters was the part of the wedding planning process I didn't know I needed until I'd done it! I was nervous going into it with no dance experience but he made it easy and effortless! My father and I learned how to swing dance and my (now) husband and I learned to slow dance. Bud was the absolute BEST to work with. My mother in law found him at a bridal show and gifted us classes. We had so much fun with our first dance and learned a lot. We got so excited to go to class each week and visit with Bud.
Both of us were clueless about dancing to start, but feel like we’ve come such a long way! Bud is very patient and always knows exactly what to say to help with whatever you are struggling with. Where do I even start? My (now) husband and I only wanted to do a dance class for fun- we know we wouldn't be able to learn a whole dance in one lesson the week of our wedding (but we tried)! We picked the perfect guy to have fun learning to dance with without even knowing! Bud was personable, funny and a great teacher. After attending one lesson we wish we would of had time to do more! Highly recommend!

Best money we spent on the wedding. Initially, my fiancé was less than thrilled about the idea of dance lessons. When he realized how important it was to me, he did research and found Bud. And let me tell you, when my (now) husband has to spend money on something, he is VERY diligent about researching to ensure it's a good investment. We can without a doubt say Bud is well worth it!

My son & I spent three lessons learning a swing dance for the Mother-Son dance at my son's recent wedding. First of all, the time spent with my son and Bud was so much fun. This dance was kind of challenging but Bud was a great patient teacher and instilled confidence in us that we could pull off an amazing dance. And we did!!! We kept it a secret (even to my son's bride) so no one was expecting that kind of performance. The guests were blown away and it was such a special experience for me to share with my son. I would recommend Bud Walters to anyone wanting to learn a dance

We LOVE Bud! He is an amazing dance instructor. He is also extremely personable and hilarious. My fiance and I have 2 left feet and had only danced with each other at concerts and clubs in the past. My fiance had a hard time leading me at first. With 3 lessons, he did a wonderful job at our wedding. We were both very nervous to make the dance special for a magical evening. Bud gave us the opportunity to have the perfect first dance. We looked awesome on the dance floor. Our family and friends loved it! Let's be completely honest here. The first dance at most weddings is a throw away moment. It's boring. It's an opportunity for most of the guests to go grab a drink at the bar without missing anything exciting and catch up with old friends. No, I'm not heartless. I get that it's a touching moment for the couple as they share that moment together in their own little world but except for the parents and a couple of very close friends nobody is paying attention past the first 15-20 seconds (if you're lucky) of that first dance. It doesn't have to be that way

Not only were we going over the final touches of our wedding but we also were going through large career transitions the last few weeks leading up to our wedding. We were worried that dance lessons would be another added thing to stress us out, but I had talked about taking dance lessons since I saw Bud at a bridal show so we decided to go through with it and we couldn't be more pleased.
Bud was very fun and easy to work with. He was entertaining and made the experience very enjoyable. We got so many compliments on our first dance and it's an experience I will always remember.

Mr. Walters is an AMAZING teacher and a dancer. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He can teach any type of dance to any level of students. Ours was a basic swing which we've never danced before. His instruction is clear and demonstrations of both parts (leader and follower) are very good and helpful. We are so glad to have gone to him for the lessons. Our first dance couldn't have been any more perfect! I wished he could've come to England to see our dance! Thank you, Mr. Walters!

Bud Walters is simply amazing! After our first session I was excited for the first time about my fiance and I dancing our first dance together at our wedding. A good friend recommended Bud and said we can't go wrong and boy was she right! Bud made the experience fun and we loved it so much that my man actually wants to take more lessons together! I never expected that, but it's a true testimonial to how great of a teacher Bud is.
