Marly: I'm a native Puerto Rican that moved to the east coast to pursue my goals as an artist-entrepreneur. In New York I fell in love with photography and filmmaking. With a specialty in directing at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts MFA program for film production; my love for film is what inspires my photography.
I believe that an image should capture a moment in a way that tells a story. When not capturing images, I'm directing films. While Stephen is running, I'm doing yoga. Stephen: Doesn't like writing his own bio. Originally from Baltimore, Stephen has a degree in photography and creative writing. His love for photography started over 10 years ago on film, capturing fine art around Baltimore on various film formats.

Choose your outfit(s) two to seven days prior to the session and try them on. This way you are not scrambling to find an alternate solution if you don't feel comfortable with your outfit on the day of the shoot. It also allows for time to find clothes that you might have misplaced. This will help you feel less stressed and more at ease the day of the session.

My husband and I have worked with Marly and Stephen on three separate occasions over the last four years. Every single experience has been amazing. They are amazing people, and really help bring out the best in my family when taking our photographs. In our latest shoot, we had our daughter with--it was our first photo shoot as a family, and they were really great with our little one-year-old; they got so many amazing pictures of her! The colors are also always so vibrant; it makes for an amazing set of photos. You cannot top the quality and cost of a photo shoot with Marly and Stephen--hands down

My wife and I highly recommend Lucent Lux (Marly and Stephen) for any occasion. Originally, we booked them only for engagement photos, but after working with them and seeing the result, we immediately knew that we had found our wedding photographers as well. Couldn't be happier with the results of both occasions. They make the process simple and stress-free regardless of the location. On top of that, they are just good people. Lastly, the quality of their work far exceeds the cost. If you book Lucent Lux, you are getting a bargain.

Stevie did my maternity and newborn photo shoot for our second baby boy and she has been hands down the best photographer ever. She is amazing at what she does, she makes you feel like she's known you for a very long time. There are not enough right words about her, she's everything you look for in a photographer. Thank you Stevie for capturing such special moments in our lives. We hope to very soon have another few sessions with you.
