The owner and builder of Ashley Homes, Chuck Hiers, brings a wealth of experience, expertise and dedication to his craft as evidenced by many successful years in Jacksonville's home building industry. He has been involved with the construction of over 15,000 homes since 1980.
Chuck spent 10 years with the DW Hutson Company as a Superintendent, Project Manager, then VP of Construction, 2 years as VP of Construction at Thompkins Heritage Homes, and founded Ash-Brooke Construction in 1986 which is still ongoing today.In 2001 Chuck became VP of Construction and a partner at D.S. Ware Homes, and remained as VP of Construction after Engle Homes bought the company.

We had our home built FOR US by Ashley Homes. A lot of these others builds you a home that they want to build and not what the customer wants. Their professionalism and communication are top notch and inform you about every step of the progress. From first walking in to their office till the final walkthrough/closing was just an amazing experience. I highly recommend Ashley Homes to anyone looking for a house to be built FROM THEM!!!

Our experience with Ashley Homes has been phenomenal from start to finish. It was great working with Greg, DJ and Chuck. They were easy to get in touch with, quick to respond to any questions that came up, and aided in communication throughout the entirety of the build. Back in November when we made the decision to have a new home built working with Ashley Homes, no one could have imagined how Covid would have such a decisive impact on the supply chain. The shortages on many critical construction items created delays and substitutions. These were issues that required a company as competent as Ashley to manage. While there were some challenging concerns over the past few months, the Ashley management and staff worked together to resolve each as effectively as possible. The home is beautiful and good quality. We appreciated the excellent teamwork from Chuck, DJ

We had our home built using Ashley Homes and must say they were thorough with everything! From choosing countertops, wall color, cabinets, light fixtures, water fixtures, it was all an easy process. The walk through went great with checking out the finished home and having anything fixed right away. They went to work within minutes after!
Anything we needed help with, fixed, changing they were there for us in the drop of a hat! They go above and beyond to help their customer and very grateful for what they have done for us.
