Services
TPS Printing has been in business for over 35 years. It was started by Jerry Wissing and is still owned and operated by Jerry and his family. Our original location was on Miramar Road in San Diego, but after moving 3 times to accommodate our growing business we finally found a great, centrally-located building in Sorrento Mesa.
Note: if you have sent us your message after hours or on a weekend, we will contact you on the next business day. Our in-house art department can help with any design or finishing touches that are needed to prepare your artwork for print. You can also supply your own artwork. Once the artwork proof is approved, it will move into production.

I've used TPS Printing (FKA The Printing Shoppe) for over 15 years for all my commercial printing needs. I needed a large poster printed and also was working with a very short time frame and needed it right away. Michael was really helpful as I was honestly clueless about everything like sizing, paper finishes, etc. He explained to me how custom sizing worked and answered any questions and addressed any concerns that I had. Also, he emailed/called whenever he had to ask for my preferences on the way the poster was printed and always reassured me that they were working on my order. Super professional and great to work with. I got my printed poster done within 24 hours. Ordered it at around 2 on a Monday

The experience with this shop is absolutely amazing! Jon was the person that I worked with to get a poster printed for an Expo and he was more than accommodating with my schedule and requests. TPS did a phenomenal job on our CD package. When I start a new project I always get more than one quote, TPS Printing’s quote was excellent and they won the job. Their attention to detail was obvious on not only the quote but also the final project. I also enjoyed working with their sales rep Derek. Derek found a creative solution for our print job that no other printer could match. For those with digital jobs, TPS has a 5 color press, which means they can throw in a spot gloss on the piece very economically. Not everybody can do that. I work with graphic designers and print companies very frequently for a luxury resort. And I must admit, I am a bit picky when it comes to the proofing process - normally going through at least 2 or 3 proofs. With TPS, they followed each directive and presented me with a creative solution. Not a single edit to return, and the quality of the finished product was beautiful. Quick turnaround, too!
