Ballet Arts Foundation
The main goal has always been to foster and develop both a professional and a children's performing ensemble, designed to meet the needs of young dancers in Southern Arizona with career aspirations. The two ensembles have provided a rich training ground for the serious student by offering interaction with professional dancers, teachers and choreographers.

Arizona Daily Star critic Robert Cauthorn proclaimed, "Ballet is Back!". The Children's Ensemble has appeared in numerous performances throughout Arizona and also in Mexico, Ukraine and France. Annual stagings of fully-produced ballets are regularly presented. The 1994-95 Season marked the debut of Tucson's own full-length holiday classic The Nutcracker.

The annual Summer Dance Workshop has been held for 36 years in cooperation with the University of Arizona School of Dance. For four weeks each summer, students ranging in age from 8-18 participate in a 4-week intensive. Nationally and internationally recognized master teachers come to Tucson to work with students teaching classes and holding dance-related lectures.
Join us to celebrate the triumphant return of ART THAT MOVES! After over a year away from the stage, Ballet Tucson brings five unique and exhilarating performances to the heart of the city, Downtown Tucson. With a wide array of inspiring choreographic works, including several company premieres, there is truly something for everyone to enjoy during our 36th season.
Enjoy spectacular in-person events including our beloved annual Sugar Plum Tea and other delightful new experiences created by our young patrons collective: The Ballet Tucson Bravo League. You can also purchase tickets to exclusive, limited time digital events. Join our mailing list or follow us on social media to be notified about new events!

A serious classical ballet, jazz and tap studio where kids are trained to become technical dancers. The teachers are thorough and emphasize proper dance education.
Even though there are full production opportunities for dancers to be part of, if what you’re looking for is to see your kid in a tutu doing cutesy stuff on stage, this is not your school. Professional dancers come out of this place!

Great Ballet classes for all levels. I came back to Ballet as an adult and have made progress by attending the two weekly classes. Very friendly nurturing environment. Highly recommended.

Wonderful school for adult beginners. Technique-based class, not fitness-based, so you will learn and get stronger in a safe and fun environment! Love this company and Chieko!

This is the only professional dance company in Tucson. Ballet Arts is a professional studio and performing arts school that requires auditions and meticulously develops the highest levels of skill in each student. If you're child is lucky enough to be invited, take the opportunity and never look back.
