We are wedding photographers who specialize in photographing weddings in Philadelphia, Phoenixville, Bucks County, Montgomery County and Chester County Pennsylvania. Over the last 20 years I have been a practicing artist of many mediums, including ceramics and dance, receiving my MFA in photography in 2009. Through it all, love and connection has been the thread that ties my work together. Stories of love and devotion inspire my work as an artist and as a portrait photographer.
I see marriage as a sacred contract, as activism for those who have not been allowed to show their love in the past. As an opportunity to elevate and display the bond and the growth that exists between two individuals. I see my role as photographer, as the "unexpected family member, " the photographic notetaker, that documents your bond and the story of your love.
5-8 hours of devoted shooting, getting ready shots, (first look) a private couples shoot, bridal party, ceremony, reception. Engagement photo shoots are a great way for me to get to know you as a couple before the big day, plus you get great images for your save the date. Destination weddings are welcome and will be taken into account during pricing.

Amber is our official family photographer! She has been with us from our engagement photos, through our wedding and the birth of our two kids! She even drove down to the Jersey Shore for an extended family beach shoot! She is extremely flexible during the shoot and is not overbearing like many photographers can be. She really makes an awkward experience of posing and having your picture taken very calm, relaxing, and enjoyable. We will absolutely continue to use Amber through all of our life events!

I can’t thank you enough for the newborn pictures of Birdie. Those early days are such a foggy haze and my memory of her then is so malleable, it’s really special to have these images. What an amazing gift to have of my daughter. Thank you for your patience as we waited for Birdie to call the shots during the session.

Through the lens finder Amber Johnston zooms in on the turn essence of an individual. She is a gifted photographer with focus on both the setting and the subject. She creates interesting and thought provocative images using both her artistic resources and intuitive insight. In addition to print portrait photography I have worked with Amber on a video project. We traveled together in California capturing nature scenes from the Pacific Ocean to mountain peaks. With an eye and an ear for detail, live improv music and spoken word were added to the nature images to produce a 20 minute video.Working
