You're probably wondering how he got his name. Well, the truth is that ever since he was just a kid whenever he did something ill-advised his dad would say "You Goofball!" and hence the name stuck. Goofball is not actually from Goofballland (although be my guest to try to convince him otherwise). He was born and raised in San Francisco, CA.

Goofball performed at my son's school (performing for hundreds of children for a school assembly) and enjoyed him so much that he wanted him at his birthday party. He was thrilled when Goofball arrived at our home for his special day. All of the kids loved the magic show and the adults enjoyed it too.
As early as possible. Goofball is often booked months in advance, but even if your event is last second it doesn't hurt to contact him just in case he has availability. If you live in a house like the one below, you can be sure that Goofball will be charging you triple what he normally charges. I requested Goofball for my company family BBQ.
He was super funny with his jokes and his acts. His show was very entertaining for both kids and adults. He mixed up the jokes perfectly, some were adult level but the over the kids heads. Adults were cracking up! I would highly recommend him for entertainment for any gathering that includes kids.

Goofball came to our home for my daughters 6th birthday. After searching online my daughter found a YouTube clip of Goofball and from that moment on there was no way of convincing her of anything other than a Goofball party. We decided to host the party late on Saturday night as a dinner and show so the adults could hang out while the kids were entertained. Typically when we've had kid entertainers the adults have not been interested... Not the case with Goofball. Within ten minutes parents cleared the bar and catered buffet and piled inside to watch the show. Everyone was thoroughly impressed

Goofball was fantastic to work with! We had him in our office for Bring Your Kids to Work Day and kids and adults alike loved him!
He incorporated some physical activity for the kids which we all appreciated :) The jokes were hilarious and he interacted with most of the kids we had there by bringing them up to the front and demonstrating. Will definitely be using goofball again for future events :)

About 2 years ago, my second child had his 1st birthday party. We hired the services of a different magician, he was good and we're happy about his services.
Fast forward 2 years, we got another child and he's celebrating his 1st birthday. I contacted the old magician but he was booked for that date. I checked on Yelp and found Goofball. The reviews were great so we've decided to give it a try. We did all the communication through email and he was prompt with his response. He got different packages and tricks that we took advantage. We ordered the GB mugs for kids giveaways too

Wow what can I say about Goofball the magician?
I think that I may have enjoyed him even more than the kids did... And that's saying something because the kids were cuckoo for cocoa puffs over him. He does a great job of mixing subtle dark sarcasm into his act that goes completely over the heads of the children and absolutely slayed me. He is a pro and showed up on time did his act and left us with some great memories. Thanks a lot Goofball the magician for making Isaac's fifth birthday a great one.

Our Cub Scout Pack 815 hired Goofball to come to our parent school Hillview Crest Elementary to give a magic class and a magic show in support of all that Hillview had done for our Pack. Goofball was great. Very patient wit all the kids. We had well over 100 student show up and just as many parents. He had a very nice magic learning book for the kids. We did a raffle to chose one kid that Goofball levitated with his signature trick. He also made a balloon creation for each child. He was great. We will definitely use him again in the future. Thanks Goofball for the memories.

Goofball is a great entertainer and our party was a success. He arrived early to setup and able to keep the children engaged throughout the show. Since the party was for kindergartners, we felt some of the humor was targeted to adults, which made the adults feel included. Nonetheless, everyone had a great time.
Goofball's close up magic was pretty impressive and I would consider hiring him for adult party next time.

WOW! This guy is simply FANTASTIC!! I am not at all into magicians, clowns or anything like this at B'day parties, but this guy really succeeded to amaze us all!
We were today at a friends' 7 years old daughter Birthday party in the park. From little kids to adults, Goofball had us all entertained, we all had a super-fun time :) and a good laugh! My jaws were hurting from too much laughing LOL.
A+++++++ entertainer that I highly recommend! In fact, I can't wait for our own kids B'day parties to hire Goofball, it will sure be a blast!

Goofball did a show at my daughters 4th birthday party. In addition to the 30 minute show for the kids, he also wandered around the party doing close up magic. I really like close up magic, and he was great with the card tricks and sleight of hand. For the show, he played to his 4 year old audience and was a lot more goofball-y, which the kids loved. Some magic of course, but also lots of goofing around and letting the kids feel smart, which they loved.
He came early to set up, stayed late to pack up and made sure to say goodbye to the birthday girls before leaving. I'd definitely recommend

Spring break and what to do?
In an effort to keep our 10-year-old entertained during Spring break, my wife purchased a one hour, balloon animal lesson from "Goofball"
One-on-one, he is very professional and patient, teaching flowers, dogs and swords.
My son was completely enthralled with his lesson and couldn't wait to show off his new skills to his siblings and friends.
He's even promised (threatened?), to set up shop somewhere (anywhere) to earn enough off of selling his creations, to afford the advanced lessons (balloon hats, I'm sure).
Highly recommended!

I went to two parties where Goofball was invited. I must say, generally, I'm afraid of clowns (childhood horror stories), but this guy was a crack up. He can easily entertain both children and adults. His balloon creations amaze me and so do his card tricks. I still can't figure out those tricks.
When my two year old first saw him walk through the door, she was really afraid. Perhaps because his shoes alone are as big as my kid. She later warmed up a little bit after he gave her a little flower balloon bracelet and after the party, she was actually asking for Goofball to come

I've never seen anything like this before at a wedding, but it happened. I was completely surprised at his performance. It was quite different and definitely interesting to say the least.
Goofball has some skills and an energy level that many cannot and will not go near. You will not believe your eyes when you see him performing. I'm sure every kid would like to see him in action.

Goofball is great with kids as well as adults. He has a natural charm and humor to him which makes him so personable. He can transform your party into the most awesome time ever!
I've seen him do ventriloquism and he does a great job. He has several characters and personalities he works with and does a great job differentiating them.
Aside from ventriloquism, Goofball also does awesome balloon animals. Let me tell you, the kids will go nuts! Who does like a cool balloon dog?

Goofball is definitely a must for any other children's parties I plan from now on. I didn't think much of it at the beginning because how good can a kid's birthday party entertainer be? But when Goofball started, he just took over. The kids were possessed when he started his act. Even the shyest kids were going crazy. And at the end, the kids just swarmed him and wouldn't let him go. All the kids were screaming at the top of their lungs from beginning to end. I did not expect the show to be that great.
