Love Creamery is a combination of my love for ice cream, farming and all things local.
These passions were hardwired during my youth. My mom was - and is still - an avid gardener and cook. We grew up with meals made from her kitchen garden. Later in life I volunteered at Micheal Fields Agricultural Institution, creating farm to table lunches for visitors. I have basically been cultivating small plots of land with fruit and vegetables ever since.

This is a weekly treat for me - I cannot have dairy so being able to go to an ice cream 🍨 shop with 3 to 4 flavors to choose from is Wonderful 👍 and as always the staff are warm, friendly & helpful! Couldn't be better unless they got a bigger space (but not complaining) the seating area is nice & cozy - it encourages you to visit with someone on their flavor choices. Love 💗 that they are pet friendly too

I’m genuinely convinced this is the best ice cream place in the world. My best friend introduced it to me when we both moved back to Duluth this summer and I haven’t been able to stop going!! Not a single regret about the money I’ve spent here. Currently making my way through a vegan chai pint and really hoping this becomes a staple flavor 😍

The people that work here are nasty and rude. They scoop out ice cream without gloves- their hands touching the ice cream that they serve. Yuck. This is illegal.
They are also rude. I couldn't finish my ice cream and I walked up to the register and asked for a lid. The server scolded me and rudely said "you can't stand behind the counter". Well, I was no where behind the counter. Then she said "I could put it in a different size - but no, I can't do it because you already touched it". How absurd. She should have politely handed me the medium size cup and

The best service and ice cream in the north imo. Huge range of inclusive flavors, vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, clearly labeled for those with allergies and stuff (like nuts). Textures amazing. Flavors even better. And a huge array of ways to enjoy the ice cream...sundaes, creampuffs, with coffee, local brownie cookie sandwiches and more. Flavors change, website stays updated so you can know when to book it for your favorite flavor

I absolutely loved Love Creamery. Anytime I find vegan ice cream I am ecstatic. This sweet spot is located in the tourist area of beautiful Duluth. We couldn't believe how gorgeous it is (FYi) but then to find this special little oce cream shop - what a treat. Loads of unique flavors, a friendly vibe, and they ask you what order you'd like your scoops to be in your cone. Now that, my friends is gracious customer service. Loved it - thanks Vera for the friendly scooping!!

Such good ice cream! I’ve never had a dark chocolate ice cream actually taste like dark chocolate!! It was absolutely delicious. Not to mention, staff was super kind. The staff scooping up mine accidentally dropped it on the counter, which was funny and they joked about it. :) they quickly cleaned it up and served me a new one. Such a welcoming and “homey” environment.

The person who served me was so kind! They were super quick and knowledgeable. All of the ice creams were great! (I got the lemon cream) the cookies and cream was great and so was the lucky charms ice cream! The cones are house made and sooo yummy! And I also loved the pronouns pins it helps a lot when reviewing!! I have nothing but great things to say about Love!!

Absolutely LOVED the ice cream! The shop is super cute and the staff love their job, it shows! I love how you are able to sample whichever flavor you like and on top of that you can order a flight of ice cream and select 6 flavors!! This truly is a great deal and a good option for those who cannot decide on one or just don't want to be limited! I got the flight with Salted Caramel, Triple Chocolate Love, Goat Cheese Honeycomb, Lemon Custard, Cookies and Cream, and Whiskey Bourbon Pecan. My favorites were the Goat Cheese Honeycomb and the Salted Caramel! Definitely recommend this place for

If you are visiting Duluth, this is a MUST STOP ice cream shop. The texture of the vegan ice cream I tried (rocky road) was the best I've had anywhere, so impossibly creamy & smooth! The staff here will be happy to tell you about flavors, provide samples & make sure you don't feel rushed. Somehow they process a long line very quickly even while going the extra mile to ask which order people want their scoops put into the cone. They offer a "flight" which is 6 flavors in a cardboard holder for $8 which would be indulgent for a couple to share. The one thing that was off

Local, artisan, handcrafting ice cream daily from SCRATCH, oh yeah and good coffee too. Organic, they offer vegan as well as ICE CREAM FLIGHTS. Yes, it is more $ than Dairy Queen, but there is artistry in their offerings to the world. And choices, really good choices.
I love a GOOD AFFOGATO...and this was the SUPREME Affogato of all:
I asked for a dollop of goat cheese brandied cherry and buttermilk ice creams in mine. The server didn't throw a hissy fit-and thought it might be interesting. It was. That is an example of good customer service.

Love Creamery is a cute, friendly spot in a semi-gentrifying, semi-rundown part of Duluth. They have a few labeled vegan options for ice cream which is also great.
I got a scoop of the vegan nutella and vegan maple pecan ($3.75 each). The nutella tasted good, but had a chalky texture. The maple pecan, however, was fabulous: creamy, smooth and lightly sweet.
They also offer coffee drinks and we had a nice oat milk cappuccino. Don't skip Love Creamery if you're in Duluth.

Really good ice cream. Their flavors change daily and they often run out of certain flavors. I got a baby scoop of half dark chocolate and half buttermilk; which was a great flavor combination.
Ordering is simple from the window and they will bring your ice cream out to you. They have set up a cute parklet where you can enjoy your ice cream.

Love Creamery is a must-stop spot when visiting Duluth! They have quite a few incredible rotating flavors... The only down-side is that your favorite may not be around for too long! I personally stocked up on a pint of London Fog and a pint of Honey Lavender because they were too good to go without. The woman working was so incredibly helpful, and she even provided me with a few ice packs to keep my pints cold enough until I made it home. Both the service and the ice cream was top notch!

This is a must stop for us when in Duluth...sometimes once a day :) The staff is super friendly and helpful, they have a cool walkup window to order, their flavors are so clever and delicious, they have coffee and espresso so I don't have to find a separate coffee shop!, they give free samples to help with decisions, they gave vegan and gluten free options, AND they give doggy treats for you furbaby! I just love this place!
