We sell custom wood plantation shutters from our manufacturer in Texas. Information about our high-quality Texas-made custom plantation shutters is provided below. Our Custom Plantation Shutters are available in any Sherwin Williams or Pittsburgh Paint colors, and we can match any color and styles to fit any room.
We offer a wide selection of custom Horizontal Blinds from the Hunter Douglas Horizontal Blind collections: all wood, faux wood or metal collections made in the U.S.A. We offer blinds in 1" or 2" widths and in a variety of colors. These products feature slats that tilt to any angle, from closed to open and anywhere in between - allowing you to control the exact amount of light entering the room.

I priced with Home Depot prior to calling Michael. He not only beat their quality with a Grade A shutter, but he beat their price by $2000!!! He was prompt to each appt and helped guide me in making my shutters vision become a reality.
In a time of long waits on basically anything, our shutters arrived six weeks ahead of schedule. Michael's installers were incredible nice, professional, and efficient. They took pride in making sure they were perfect.

I've used Michael a couple of times now and he does not disappoint. He is fast, accurate and so easy to work with. I have never had a problem with his measurements, quotes, or professionalism. He is literally what everyone needs for Shutters! He offers help if I need it, but respects my time and does what he says he is going to do. Michael was responsive, his initial consultation was thorough and he didn't recommend any products that he did not need. His follow-up and customer service is also top notch. Ultimately we chose him for his customer service, transparent pricing, and his pricing was the most competitive. We did shop around for our blinds and Hunter Douglas shades and his pricing cannot be beat. The only issue we had is that we waiting a really long time for a piece that we ultimately did not need to fix one of our blind. However, this was not Michael's fault, this was more of the technician not realizing

Very organized, good suggestions and quality of product, and the price was better than another quote we got prior. Was highly recommended to us by our realtor who described Michael as "the best" and our neighbors used him as well. From ordering to install the process was seamless. He even had a record of the color match to a previous install with the manufacturer. We had the bottom front of the house done and some of the windows were 20ft high. Arched. I was skeptical but it was measured perfectly and installed expertly. Our electricity bills have lowered now that the east facing windows can be shaded nicely in the morning. We fully plan to schedule the remaining windows.

My wife and I were building a home in Dripping Springs, TX while living in Florida. Michael was a breath of fresh air compared to the logistical nightmare we faced with most contractors throughout our long-distance home construction. His prices are incredible considering the quality of his product (i.e. real wood). I bought some custom shutters and a roller shade, from Michael. He was very helpful and friendly during the initial consultation, and helped picked just the right color to match the current window sills. I'm very pleased with the results: it looks like the shutters have always been there. To top it off, his prices were notably lower than (roughly 1/3 under) another quote I received. If I need any more shutters or shades, I'll call Michael first.

Investing in plantation shutters can be a daunting task. We did a lot of research and got multiple quotes. We finally decided to go with Shutter Guy Austin, and we are SO HAPPY we did. Michael is extremely knowledgable and very professional. He exceeded my expectations dramatically.
