Waters Texas
Our style brings together flavors of the southwest, with hints of Louisiana, but our featured ingredients themselves typically speak the loudest. At Waters Restaurant - Sundance Square, we source the freshest wild, seasonal, and sustainable seafood available.

Between Executive Chef Anthony Felli and myself, we brag a cumulative culinary experience of over 40 years at the pinnacle of the Fort Worth dining scene, so we like to think of our kitchen team as "well-seasoned".When we fly in fresh halibut from Alaska, we let the succulent delicacy itself do most of the talking.

Whether heading to the Bass Hall with your family or just a night on the town with a group of friends, the Chef's Room will add that "something extra" to your culinary experience. Waiter Chad was awesome and very accommodating. The lobster Mac and cheese is very delicious but for $22 there were just little pieces of lobster every now and then. My filet mignon was delicious but could have had a little less glaze on it. The menu is very limited. The manager kept coming around to the table next to us to check on them and other tables around us but kept skipping ours which was odd. Didn't seem very professional. The hostesses were awesome and able to bump up our reservation by an hour. All around yummy meal.

An upscale oasis of the freshest seafood in downtown Fort Worth. After booking a reservation through Yelp we chose the patio, and quickly discovered a brisk wind. The front staff graciously worked us in to two seats at the bar. The bar tender was professional, friendly, and efficient. Waters was hopping and happy chatter filled the dining area. The Bass Hall venue is a block away, so many were well dressed enjoying a bite before the show. I'm glad we stepped in because I discovered THE best crab cakes I've ever eaten. Not only were they golden and crispy to perfection, they had a tinge

Came here for my 30th birthday. No special treatment in terms of free dessert or anything, but you don't go to a restaurant owned by Jon Bonnell for that. You go for authentic gumbo and basil cream halibut and lemon icebox cheesecake, all of which were fantastic. The after-dinner coffee was also delicious which it had no business being in an upscale seafood restaurant.

Enjoyed my birthday dinner here. They present you with a happy birthday card and a candle in your dessert. The perfect little touches made it a lovely birthday. The halibut was ohhhh soooo good!! I believe they are called “texasfellar” oysters were the best cooked oyster I’ve ever had!

So we had a reservation for 5:30, got here early and sat at the bar. Discovered their happy hour menu with $5 wine, so we just stayed at the bar. Had all their oysters: The Dirty Dozen, which are six raw East Coast beauties (two for each of us); the Sundance (broiled oysters with lime butter and Parmesan crumbles), and the Texasfeller (fried oysters with hollandaise and spinach). All were excellent, though my favorite was the Sundance as they reminded me of the chargrilled oysters in New Orleans. Had to get a second helping of bread to soak up the delicious sauce. Also ordered the Caesar salad

I would like to give Waters a five star review. Drinks at the bar were nice with a friendly server. Gumbo was outstanding. My salmon was a bit overdone even after I asked for it to be cooked on the rare side. Service was excellent. Overall a really nice experience until I left and had to pay $21 to retrieve my car from the valet.

What?!?!?

Waters is already a premium priced dining experience, but to have Sundance punch you in the nose on the way out was uncalled for. Perhaps they are trying to encourage their patrons to use Uber. Perhaps they are encouraging me to go elsewhere.

Was meeting up a friend up for dinner and ended up sitting at the bar. Elliott was the bartender and he was outstanding! I wasn't sure which wine to get so he allowed me to try a few of the HH options and mentioned one of his favorites, the rose. I ended up starting with the rose which perfectly complimented the raw oysters. The oysters were a steal for the quality, quantity and HH price. For our entree we split the halibut with extra sweet potato gnocchi and a half order of the lobster Mac and cheese. I also ordered the Pinot to drink with my entree. The halibut was so flavorful with the

Service was excellent. Beautiful restaurant. The appetizers and drinks were wonderful especially the fried oysters. The crab cakes were okay but nothing special. The Fish and Chips (halibut) was very dry and not the best I have had by any means.

I would definitely go back for appetizers and drinks though!

I had the red snapper special and added a crab cake because....why not? My daughter ordered the filet and absolutely loved it. She has been asking to go back just so she can get another steak lol

My husband took me here for my birthday. Perfect choice for a pescatarian! Our waiter, Jacob, was absolutely amazing. Since it was our first time he gave us a complete run down of the menu and even highlighted a couple of dishes that he liked which helped us narrow down our choices.

My favorite thing was the Dirty Dozen. It was a oyster flight with six different types of oysters. It was thoughtfully plates so you could follow the order displayed on the menu as you were eating them. I also tried the fried oyster Appetizer and that was just as good. They were larger in size, so 6 went a long ways

The wife took me here for an amazing birthday gift. I enjoyed Waters. I got the Mac and cheese which was cooked to perfection with creamy cheese and crunchy ness on top just how I like it. My entree was the fish of the day. It was a sword fish pan seared on a bed of rice it was heaven. I thought about the fish for a week after eating it. What a good piece of fish so tender and flavorful I savored every bite until it was gone. I swear if it wasn't an upscale place I would have licked the plate.

This was one of the best meals I've had since moving to Fort Worth and the service was outstanding! It's also owned by one of my favorite steaks houses ... Bonnells (another must try).

I choose this restaurant because I wanted fresh oysters and I wasn't disappointed. The "Dirty Dozen" are a perfect starter and the Signature Gumbo was very good as well.

For entrees you can't go wrong with the sea scallops or the filet. yes, I know it's a seafood restaurant, but it's also Bonnell's and the beef is always amazing.

The service is some of the best I

This places is a little classy/casual upscale restaurant, that serves some of the best sea food in Fort Worth. It is located in Downtown Fort Worth on the corner of Main St. It can be easy to pass so watch carefully as you drive.

The am atmosphere is friendly, it can also get slightly noisy but not noisy enough to where you can't hear the people on your party. The setup and decor adds a nice touch to the feel of the restaurant.

I was greeted the moment I walked in with a friendly smile by a hostess even before I reached the hostess stand. The hostess seemed very organized and communicated

Evening starter off less then stellar for sure. We arrived 20 minutes earlier for a 830 reservation time didn't get seated till 850

But we get it, very busy and it was raining so they get a pass... due to weather not over booking it seems

Started the night with a few craft cocktails that my wife and daughter loved, and my self as well!

3 rounds of double's at the bar later, then we found ourself getting seated

Starter off crab cakes, oyster, and calamari to share... calamari especially for the daughter she loved it! Scrumptious appetizer and drinks for sure

Outstanding service. The manager Jamie was attentive and accommodating in these difficult and confusing times. Paul, our server, his attention to detail was outstanding and his knowledge of wine is as good as any sommelier I've ever met, in fact his knowledge of the menu and nuanced explanations of the different dishes were spot on which doesn't seem important but it made a tremendous impact on how much we all enjoyed our meal. Instead of buying what we were familiar with from other restaurants Paul was able to describe each item so precisely that we could almost taste it! We all changed our selections

Waters currently has curbside pickup deliciousness.

You can score a meal for 2 for $30! The menu changes daily (price may as well), so go to the website, then click on the chef/owner's facebook site for that day's menu.

I went on a Sunday. There is a sign and a lane blocked off with cones immediately in front of the restaurant. You just line up there (yes, a line of vehicles forms quickly, so make sure you get in line a little early).

We were warmly greeted by a nice employee who placed our meal on our back seat. Another
