Rick and Amber have been friends of mine for years, they're both DJ's so we met professionally but became friends outside of work quickly. When I found out after a few years of knowing them that they had actually been dating for a year or so prior, it made so much sense since they're both fun and outgoing.
I met Shannon years ago while she was working for a venue in Sacramento, and we immediately clicked. We hung out a few times and even became yoga buddies for a bit! Then life got crazy, as it always does, and we didn't see each other for a couple years. She reached out last year to let me know she was engaged, and wanted me to photograph her wedding.

We are so happy we worked with Kim for our wedding. We wanted her to focus on more documentary style images to capture the essence of the relationships among us and our guests and she definitely delivered. She took the time to completely immerse herself in our event and with our guests. Kim was able to capture so much emotion and so many special moments, reviewing the gallery brought us right back to the day and help us see it even more fully.

Kim is just the best. She had my whole family laughing through out the entire wedding, which made for great photos. She also trekked is out to some insanely beautiful natural spots for couple photos that I didn't even know existed near our venue! Her prices are reasonable and her work is incredible. Her direction was gentle and super helpful. Kim was so personable, I had guests come up to me afterwords asking if she was a friend of mine because she made everyone feel so comfortable. If I could give her more than 5 stars I would... thank you for everything Kim!!!! Xoxoxo

The day of the wedding, Kim was super punctual and captured so many moments that made the day special. She was assertive enough to keep the day's events progressing (family member combination photos, moving to different locations to shoot, etc.) while remaining her friendly self.

I don't even know to begin with this review because Kim is so wonderful. We met through a mutual friend and I told her before I was even engaged that she would take my wedding photos because I loved her work so much. So when I got engaged, Kim was the first vendor I reached out to. She took absolutely gorgeous engagement photos and it was a great trial run to get used to being in front of the camera. She makes you feel so at ease being in front of the camera. She plays games and gets you to open up, laugh, and have fun which results in the best genuine photos.

We loved Kim!!
I found myself getting frustrated. Even though the wedding was far enough in advance that I could find a photographer, I didn't know of any wedding photographers in the area. After what seemed like months of searching and not liking anyone's styles or packages, I reached out to my friends who had their wedding photographed by Kim. I just love how energetic, fun, fresh, and bright her photos were and I totally fell in love.
I can honestly say I LOVED every single shot she captured, I can't even begin to put into words how pleased and happy we were with the photos

Kim is the absolute best at what she does. If you're looking for a photographer who is also going to be your friend, she's the one you're looking for. She will take the time to get to know you and your partner/family/etc. so that she can better capture you.
Last year, my fiance (then boyfriend) and I tasked Kim to take our family photos on the beach at Bodega Bay. The day was overcast and almost gloomy, but you couldn't tell in our pictures. They were beautiful. Next, I requested that Kim take maternity shots for my sister and her husband. Needless to say, they were also beautiful

KIM IS AMAZING!! Not only is she super talented, Kim is the sweetest person! We found her through yelp and my husband and I both fell in love with all the photos on her website! Kim was prompt to respond to our inquiry, and our initial meeting was like friends catching up. Getting our photos taken by Kim, both for our wedding and the engagement session, was incredibly fun and we LOVE the photos! Each of them is frame-worthy!! Our entire experience with Kim has been the best! Kim is highly recommended! Anyone should be lucky enough to have Kim photograph their wedding!

We were lucky to find Kim for our wedding photographer. She was organized and communicated with us before the big day so that we could laugh, enjoy, and feel comfortable. We had a short time frame and got all the family photos that we wanted with the help of her online pre-event questionnaire. And the highlight: capturing candid images-- truly she was "everywhere" and unobtrusive during the ceremony. You'll be amazed at the moments she saw through her lens!

My husband and I hired Kim for both our engagement and wedding photos. We were immediately impressed with her promptness, friendliness, and how organized she was. Our engagement session was a blast, and we were floored by the high quality of the photos we received. She impressed even more at our wedding by knowing exactly what to do throughout the day (she even helped bustle my dress). She captured the day spectacularly, and although our venue had tricky lighting, the photos all turned out beautifully. If we need a photographer again, she will absolutely be the one we call!

Kim is the absolute best! We had our engagement shoot at Baker Beach nearly a year ago (I'm a little late to review, I know!) and had planned on sunset. I was a little disappointed because it was slightly overcast, but the photos turned out beautifully despite the clouds. We got stuck in traffic on our way to Baker Beach but Kim was very patient and took the extra time to really scout the area. We were able to get three very different looks between the sea grass, the beach and the wooded area nearby. We also had time for a quick costume change for a more formal look. Kim made us both feel

We had a very particular wishlist for our wedding photographer as it was the only thing we were willing to splurge on. I found Kim through extensive Google and Yelp searches and figured if she only had ONE bad review (which she quickly debunked after I asked her point blank about it- way to handle that gracefully, Kim!) and so many happy smiling photos, she had to be the real deal. And she is.

Kim is the whole package- she is an artist and she runs a darn good business. When you are planning a wedding, you want someone who is on it and someone who cares. Kim is both of these things. We had plenty to worry about for our wedding; our photography was not one of them. Kim kept us informed and touched base regularly- her work from the beginning to end with engagement photos all the way to a personal delivery of our wedding album was totally professional yet completely genuine and personal. When we were first looking for a photographer for our wedding in San Jose, I knew I wanted someone that I trusted and that would get what kind of a couple we were and what kind of a couple we were not. I also knew that I didn't want to skimp on the photography, since this is the most important thing (in my opinion) you'll pick or plan for your wedding.

Worth every penny!!
Kim is an amazing photographer. When my wife and I first met Kim, we instantly gravitated towards her kind heart and fun personality. AND THEN WE SAW HER PHOTOS!! She is clearly talented and loves being a photographer. We had an engagement photo session with Kim in Downtown Folsom and we were simply amazed with the photos from that session and made us very excited to see how our wedding photos would turn-out.
We had a "back yard" wedding on our family's 5 acre ranch. Originally, we thought nothing of the dry grass fields that were the background for our wedding

I had the pleasure of working with Kim for our wedding in October. When my husband (then fiance) met with Kim we knew she was our photographer. I found Kim by some friends of mine who used her for their wedding about 3 years ago and i fell in love with her pictures and knew one day when i got married i would defiantly call her.
When we met Kim for the first time she made us feel so comfortable and it really felt like we had met an old friend. She went over prices, contracts, showed us pictures upon pictures and answered all of our questions. Once we booked her Kim was so helpful and very quick

Kim is amazing! We have used Kim as a photographer for many of the Xoso Sport & Social League dodgeball, volleyball, softball, and kickball leagues. She takes fantastic shots, and the players love it when she's there to take pictures. Kim is a fun, sweet person and takes pride in her work, always wanting to do a great job.
