This is an important message for the owners. On 4/29/2020, I contacted Tehan for a gift certificate for a family member in Greendale. The employee who called me back this morning, 5/2 at 8:30 am CDST, woke me up (I live in a different time zone). I had several questions before I placed my order and the employee was impatient, and told me that she was "on the clock". I asked her if I could call her back (I did not have my credit card in bed with me), to which she responded "no, I am on the clock until 7 pm". She had no idea how large of a gift certificate I was going to

I really enjoy going to Tehan Greenhouses every spring. It's a bit of a drive for me but absolutely worth it. In fact, if you didn't know it existed you might not know that it's open to the public.
Parking is a bit of a nightmare when they're busy or if it's rained recently. Come early or come late or at least wait until it dries out. Everything is spread over a large area so be prepared to walk and make sure you grab a cart no matter what. If you decide you need one halfway through your trek it'll take a while to get back to the front.
