I signed my 5- and 6-year old for their first formal piano lessons and have only good things to say about this place after many months. Our children have excelled in learning and very much enjoyed the 1-on-1 teaching in the comfortable studios. The location is convenient and finding a schedule that worked for our family was easy. Benito and his staff's playful approach to the piano puts the kids at ease and makes lessons a weekly highlight for us!

I would recommend this place greatly. They have very knowledgeable teachers for quite a few instruments. Ben knows a ton and he has a knack for explaining difficult or complex concepts to novices. He can cover the basics of music theory, and go beyond that very easily. Ben is also great with kids, which is a good sign, and has no problem with older students like myself. He is also very flexible when setting up lessons and even payments. My entire skill set has changed in just a short time, and Ben wouldn't mind if you just stopped by, he has a decent library too!

5 starts isn’t enough to rate this amazing academy! All three of my boys have been enrolled for over a year, ages 5-9, guitar, piano, and percussion. Besides learning music composition from their amazing instructors, they have also gained a new sense of confidence in their daily lives.
Benito goes above and beyond with their lessons, and is also very flexible when it comes to scheduling.
Hands down, the best music school for adults and children in Colorado.

My youngest has been taking drum lessons from Dan at Rocky Mountain Academy of Music for 3 years. Dan has taught her in a way that is comfortable for her to learn and actually enjoy her lessons. My other daughter asked to take bass lessons as well and loves her lessons. They are very accommodating and I even got an impromptu drum lesson.

Mr.Benito has only been teaching me for a few weeks and its been really understandable and helpful! Mr.Benito is a really good teacher and so are all the other teachers, I love the felling of saying "Im going to piano cass today!" If you are ever looking for music classes this is definetly the place to go and it is worth it!

The music academy is wonderful! I never imagined that my 5 year old would enjoy getting lessons on a weekly basis as much as she is, and that she would learn as fast as she is. Benito is absolutely great with her even with her (and most kids) propensity for wanting to wander around. Would definitely recommend!

This studio is amazing. Multiple rooms, open space and personable teachers. I started taking piano lessons here a while ago and it's been an amazing experience. I feel like I'm learning a lot. The owner Benito is professional and great with kids. All the teachers here have so much experience and musical knowledge.
I highly recommend this studio out of any other music school in Colorado Springs.
