I had the minced garlic chicken noodles, and I liked it. It was sweet, and the Jasmine tea was very fragrant. My friend shared her fish fillet in a bun and it was delicious.

I did not like such a large Buddha statue right at the entrance. The wide variety of plants all the property was just so wonderful. Gold and red decorative and cultural motifs added elegance. Employees were nice and prompt; the chair and table comfortable. The ample, properly made and served cashew chicken was more than satisfactory.
I have had problems with Buddha statues since I read an article about how in one part of China, at one time, people committed slow suicide by eating very little for a long time then eventually entombed themselves within some unit such as a Buddha statue.

My favorite Chinese restaurant, not only because it’s good but also because they don’t put MSG.
Decent but I wouldn’t get again:

Nothing special but still good:
- Yuxiang eggplant
- Walnut shrimp: not the fried and sweet mayo-based one I wanted - but still yum (and love that they use Argentinian shrimp)
- String beans: wish it were roasted more, but crunchy, and love the zacai (pickled turnip) that comes with it

Tried North China Restaurant based on the high reviews. They were't lying. We've ordered half a dozen times now trying different dishes and haven't been disappointed. The Hot and Sour soup is some of the best I've had. (We get an extra for next-few-days leftovers.) If you like spicy (and I mean that) try the La Jiao Chicken or Beef. It has that perfect heat. A true gem of a restaurant.

Love this place. The dishes are so big and quite filling and delicious. I would recommend you not to order too much if it's your first time here. The servings are huge. You can tell everything here is freshly made. The options are so unique and the service is good.

Wow...Just wow! And I only ordered takeout! I can only imagine what it would be like to eat at this place.

If you're reading this review, North China Restaurant is a place you will not regret going to. Ask for recommendations even though you have a go-to dish. They just might surprise you!

A fine dining experience in an excellent setting, one of the west sides best Oriental or Asian food restaurants to be found! Customer service is excellent! Every dish on the menu is a tasty delight! I highly recommend dining here for lunch and dinner!

Not your average Chinese restaurant! I can't say enough about the quality of ingredients and depth of flavor from each of the dishes I've had here. This place is really next level. Simple authentic Chinese food yet beautifully presented with layers of depth in every bite.
I try to order something different everytime i visit, and after 2 years, i have yet to be disappointed. If you haven't been here yet, do not delay, it's some of the best Chinese food I've had outside of China and Taiwan!

This is now my go-to Chinese food restaurant. We sat by the waterfall outside and it was magic! PS Lunch special available weekends

Came here for lunch, we were attracted to the delicious smells from the food of people eating outside so we decided to try it. Service was good but kinda slow. They did appear to be training which made for some awkward exchanges but the food was very good. Shining star item was the chicken lettuce wraps. Not sure what they put in that chicken but it is addictive!!!
