The company immediately grew in response to client demands and added the AIHA-LAP, LLC accredited asbestos laboratory. Asbestos Phase Contrast Microscopy (PCM) - air sample analysis - has been performed since 1995. In response to increased demands for sampling, asbestos content verifications, and demolition/remediation surveys, in 1998, ACT was accredited in asbestos bulk sample analysis under Polarized Light Microscopy (PLM).
If you are the owner, and agree at your own risk - follow these steps to submit a sample of your unknown material. At no time is asbestos a safe material to be handled without extreme caution and awareness training. Lightly moisten the area where you want to collect the sample (soapy water will keep the dust and airborne filters to a minimum).

Not sure if it's mold or just dirt? If you are the owner, and agree at your own risk - follow these steps to submit a surface sample for fungal (mold) identification. Fold each end of the tape, up to 1 centimeter - leaving tabs on each end to hold onto with your fingers. Fold the tape in half, completely securing the sampling area.
