It may be a Murano glass vase needing to be mounted and shaded to be re-made into a stunning lamp.

We brought a beautiful, almost new, floor lamp here for repair. I accidentally knocked it over and part of the post that holds the shade in place broke off. Mr. Craig fixed the lamp while we waited and it looks good as new. The cost of the repair was extremely reasonable. I would highly recommend this business for repair. There were also some very nice lamps and a good selection of shades for purchase.

Mr. Craig's work was excellent and fast. He is a kind gentleman, polite, good conversation and amazingly talented. Visiting his shop was a real treat to see how he restores lamps and makes lamps from found items. He repaired three lamps for me and I will return again soon to purchase one of his lamps. What a find!

Sam Craig rewired my chandelier and dug up a matching canopy—while I waited and for reasonable price. It’s now up and gorgeous! He was a pleasure to do business with and I’d highly recommend him.

Wanted matching, quality lamp shades. Went to Craig’s Lamp and Shade. I was looking for an usual style (rectangle oval). He had the size I needed in stock as well as set me up with matching harps and finials. He was very nice and personable. It’s so nice to know there is still local stores that value great customer service as well as have the skills to back it up. Thanks Mr. Craig! You are my hero for lighting!

Had an old lamp sitting on our family’s piano for 60 years which recently fell and broke. I was expecting to leave it there but he fixed it right on the spot and re-wired it as well. He did the majority of the work on a crate on the sidewalk while chatting in front of the store. It felt like I was a child watching my dad fixing something on his workbench. He is a very nice gentleman, very good at what he does and I certainly recommend supporting this valuable small business.

A gem in Raleigh! I am so happy to have found Craig's Lamp & Shade shop. Craig was very knowledgeable and a real delight to chat with while he found me two beautiful silk shades, harps and some finials for other lamps. His shop is well stocked with shades and lamps from his custom made lamps to stock, even antique chandeliers and sconces. Thanks Craig. I'll be back!

My lamp's touch sensor wasn't working anymore, so Craig installed a switch on the base. He installed it quickly and looks like the lamp was made with it! Highly recommend Craig's Lamp and Shade for any of your lamp repairs needs.

Came in to buy a hard to find lamp socket with the threaded shell ring for an upright lamp. This is the only guy that had it in North Raleigh. Great little store with tons of lamp shades. Sells parts and repairs lamps. For part sales, make sure you know your wire colors and difference between neutral and hot and that you connect it properly as not to injure yourself or somebody else with improper wiring. Will come back here again!
