Lauren B. Photography is an established, award-winning photography company serving individuals, families, couples, and companies in the Twin Cities, Minnesota, and beyond. I capture portraits and events for those who love and celebrate real life. I fell for photography in my high school dark room. When I discovered this passion could translate into a real job, I started LBP in 2007, and it slowly grew into the best career I could ask for.
We have looked at the wedding book about twenty times and are we are absolutely elated with the final product! From beginning to end you have really blown away our expectations and have been the epitome of a consummate professional. I just had to send one more thank you but I'm sure this won't be our last time working together.
All sessions include an optional viewing session followed by lightly-edited, full-size digital negatives and an online gallery. A quick, streamlined way to update your whole group's look with fresh, cohesive headshots - at your workplace or event! A white backdrop and studio lighting provided. Highly customizable, we'll create just the look you're going for.

It's actually tricky for me to attach words to it because it's just how I am, but here's what comes to mind: real life, minimal, simple, clean, light, lasting, and of course: natural, unexpected, artfully edgy. Yes, my studio is in NE Minneapolis. There's a natural-light, white-walls portrait area; a spot for studio-lit portraits against white, gray, or black paper; dressing room; plus a meeting/lounging space.

Laurie made me feel so comfortable during my headshot session that I walked out confident I would end up with something great, and I was right! I get very anxious about professional headshots, as I've had bad luck in the past, but Laurie was able to bring out a lot of personality and openness in photos that still looked professional and polished.

Lauren is the best photographer that I have ever worked with! She did both our engagement and wedding photos and was so amazing that my in laws hired her to do another wedding and family pictures as well. She was so flexible and willing to work with us which was really great, especially during the stressful times. My husband and I are NOT photogenic but she was so good at positioning and helping us that we had so many good pictures afterwards. Like literally more than we've had in the entire 5 years of being together, lol. She's great at making the session feel comfortable and not at all awkward

I cannot say enough about how happy I am that I went with Laurie to photograph our wedding! Not only is she extremely friendly and easy to work with, her pictures are phenomenal! People have been expressing how much they love our wedding pictures and my husband and I plan to use Laurie for everything picture related moving forwards!

I love working with Laurie. She took our engagement and wedding photos, as well as three sets of family photography the last three years. She's fun, energetic, and inventive during the photo shoots and always knows what advice to give so we pose naturally. She works well with everyone, from adults to kids to dogs. The finished photos are elegant and contemporary, with a focus on the people and their personalities.

Laurie was fantastic to work with. Being photo enthusiasts my wife and I wanted to make sure we went with a great photographer and we were not disappointed! Being from out of state, she worked around our schedule to find slots to take our engagement photos and was super quick whenever I had a question arise. Her style and eye is great and she has a way to capture photos without them being too posed. I have heard horror stories of weddings where the bride and groom waited months to get back their photos, not only did Laurie get us a couple photos in a few days for some thank you cards... but she

Working with Laurie is delightful, and we've been dazzled and impressed by her photography skills. From the consultation meeting to our engagement photos to our wedding, everything has gone smoothly and been super easy with her in charge. Laurie is also fun and energetic, which is important because you spend a lot of time with your photographer!
