Dr. Orphanos is a Board Certified periodontist who became a periodontist at the young age of 27. He attended Dental School at SUNY Stony Brook and then pursued his specialty training at Tufts University in Boston. He is an educator and worldwide lecturer in the field of dentistry while maintaining 2 study clubs.

Dr. Orphanos has teamed up with Dr. Hescheles and Dr. Prusakowski to create a dental all-star lineup who work together to take care of any dental procedure their patients may need. Because they come from highly specialized backgrounds, they bring a focused outlook to their patients as well as work collaboratively to make sure each case is examined expertly and thoroughly.
Dr. Orphanos felt the need to investigate a simpler solution to full arch dental implant supported restorations. Bone grafts, require substantial healing times. Therefore staged approaches to dental implant placement, and the need for several provisional restorations presented itself as a hurdle for the patients.

Dr Orphanos and his crew are amazing- He has created a new smile for me that looks so natural, I feel like a whole new person.
When I had an emergency he dropped everything-I had one week before I left town. He had his crew stay late to assist him in surgery-and took care of me on the spot. He was on top of the lab and they had my 'repaired smile' back, installed in less than 3 days turnaround. Everyone in his office cared about me and my situation. I could not have been in better hands. Thank you Dr. "O"

Well, there is so many positive things to say. 1 The staff is very nice, helpful and professional. The dental hygienist Dawn is extremely very comforting with her procedure.Had the pleasures to have DR. PRU take excellent care when needed. Getting now to DR. ORPHANOS, he is as professional and smart, that goes over every part of what has to be done… from start to finish, leaving his patient with a SMILE that will last forever. Dr. Orphanos is a true professional, honest and caring. He uses state of the art technology and has the most advanced procedures (including laser surgery). I am so fortunate to have found him after all the unprofessional dentists I went to and diagnosed my situation poorly. Dr Orphanos is an excellent periodontist. I brought my mother in who was told she would need several teeth extracted by a dentist in her area. Dr Orphanos though has the technology to assess the teeth more thoroughly to determine which teeth have a chance at being saved. He was able to save 2 teeth. My mother was very pleased as she did not want a bridge. She also had periodontitis and they put her on a regimen every 3 months to control the bacteria from regrowing. She is stable now and her teeth are better than ever thanks to Dr O's expertise and state of the art technology. He also does

I had my first experience with implants by Dr O in 1998, I have been very happy, no problems what so ever. I had an implant last year in 2016, no problem, had another one this year 2017, no problem.
I want to comment on how great and impressive the state of the art equipment that he uses, how efficiently Dr O does the implant, within 30 mins I had an implant, he is so good at explaining and sharing his knowledge with me, which is important, I want a doctor that communicates. His office is really beautiful and his office staff is so on top of things, the girls are friendly with super attitudes

I saw 4-5 different specialists before having the pleasure of meeting Dr. Orphanos. He was the only one that was not only extremely nice, respectful, thoughtful and knowledgable, but he was honest and the only one I felt was focused on what was the best treatment for me instead of thinking on how much money he could make from my tragedy, something that sadly I can't say from all the others. My procedure went quick and smooth and I have healed incredibly well with almost no pain, he has amazing hands.
