Established in 1988, Fish Branch Tree Farm matured along with Florida's ornamental industry in general. Finding better trees and production methods have been driving forces in the development of our business since our inception. Approximately 350 acres of Live Oaks (including cultivars), Phoenix Sylvestris, and a host of other cold hardy palms and woody ornamentals has created a customer base which extends well beyond Florida's borders.
John Conroy is President, founder, and owner of Fish Branch Tree Farm, Inc. Fish Branch has sponsored and hosted many educational events that have covered a wide range of topics. He chaired the committee for the last two revisions of Florida's Grades & Standards for Palms. John has also presented at many industry venues on various topics relating to palms.

They are grown from seeds taken from Butia capitata (Pindo palm) which have been fertilized with the pollen from the Syagrus romanzoffiana (Queen palm).
Live oaks are suitable for many applications: boulevards, parking lots, windbreaks, shade trees and as wildlife habitats.
