Pete Murdock, a retired railroad engineer, initially owned the greenhouse. Pete's supplied the local community with vegetables, tropical houseplants, geraniums and poinsettias.

I was visiting from out of town and was very excited to see what an Amarillo plant store had to offer. The aesthetic of the store is very calming and beautiful. One half of the store is a boutique that has candles, pots and small home decor trinkets. The other half of the store has beautiful plants. Everything about the store is over priced. There were reed scent that were over $50 and grocery store plants for over $20. The staff did not acknowledge my presence, even though none seemed too busy, there was a grouping of 6 just hanging out behind the counter. I do appreciate the small farmers market

When a customer's reasonable expectations are not met, reputable businesses try to understand the problem and correct it. All I got from Pete's Greenhouse was a snarky email essentially saying good riddance to me and my business. Please do not waste your money on their landscape design services, they are overpriced and will not deliver.

Five stars for Pete's! I was desperately needing some landscaping for my residence. I talked to them on a Tuesday and by Saturday of the same week I had an estimate and a we set a date for installation two weeks later. They were on time and did a fantastic job. I highly recommend them for any landscaping needs. They will get the job done!!

A+.....If you have not used their landscaping team you are missing out!!! Pete's landscaping team is so creative and fun to work with and they do AMAZING beautiful work!! People literally stop in front of my home constantly just to look at my flower beds. They are the friendliest people ever and take their job very seriously. The store is one of a kind its beautiful inside and out and they take GREAT PRIDE in their work! you cannot go wrong with Pete's

It's more of a home accent store that sells plants than a nursery that sells home accents.
They have lots of classy well-curated indoor and outdoor items that would make good gifts. The selection of plants was not as extensive as a traditional nursery. Rather, the plants are an extension of the store's "beautify your home" theme. Many plants are available in large and small ready-to-go arrangements, or you can select plants and containers to make your own arrangement. There's lots to look
