Services
Many Senior In-Home Care services and products are not covered by insurance, Medicare, Medicaid or public assistance. Most individuals and families often need to pay "out-of-pocket" for some or all services requested. BlueDot Cares provides assistance with daily meal preparation for seniors in Charlotte, NC. This includes making sure their meals are both nutritious and fit within their personal dietary restrictions as well as their personal preferences. If your loved one suffers with certain allergies, is diabetic or simply has other health restrictions, our caregivers tailor their meal preparation to those specific dietary needs.
BlueDot Cares understands that physical limitations and the effects of aging can keep our clients from completing basic chores. We offer basic housekeeping services to our clients in order to maintain an orderly living space. Light housekeeping can be defined in many ways, but it typically applies only to the client and the areas used by the client.
The compassionate team at BlueDot Cares offers various social activities to our clients. Social stimulation plays a very important role in keeping our clients active and happy. We offer companionship care in order to provide our clients with company and friendship. Companions are available to help with various household chores, but their primary role is to spend time with the client.
At BlueDot Cares, our highly trained professionals are experienced in senior care. Our focus is to allow our clients to have a normal life, while giving their loved ones the assurance that they are in great hands. One such way we can help is to keep up with regular activities such as bathing and grooming.

I was completely happy with the services from BlueDot after I had a hospital stay and needed 24 hour care for a few weeks afterwards. The services were nothing less than excellent care by a group of different women who worked the different shifts for my care, personal necessities and food preparation. I must thoroughly compliment one of the finest, nicest and caring individuals on my team, Shannon Wing. My family and I are very grateful for the efficient and caring support offered by Blue Dot when my mother was discharged from hospital following her bout with Covid. No rehab Center would take her and we did not have family members able to look after her at home initially. I reached out to Jimmy at BlueDot Cares when I needed to find private care to supplement the minimal Hospice care my father would receive upon discharge from the hospital. We knew he wanted to spend his last days in his own home—but there wasn't much time to coordinate it all. Thanks to Jimmy, Ellen, Alonda, and the schedulers at BlueDot Cares, I had the care I needed for my father, and the most wonderful experience with the caregiver who was with us when his soul left his body. Blue Dot made it easy arranging care for my elderly aunt after COVID-19. They were kind, professional and informative. When my 94-year-old father fell and broke his hip, we were devastated. Once he survived surgery, he was sent to rehab during this crazy Covid-19 epidemic and lock down. We were told that we were not allowed to be with him in rehab, even though my mother was his 24/7 caregiver at home. His specific challenge was his dementia, so he was an extreme fall risk. He didn’t remember he had surgery or that he couldn’t walk unassisted. He needed someone with him 24/7 to keep him from hurting himself and to keep his mind engaged. We had hired another agency because they had people more quickly available

I've consistently experienced Jimmy and his staff to be professional, prompt and courteous.
