Affectionately referred to as an Ameristralian by her husband, Danie was born and raised on the east coast of Australia. Having spent 6 months in Tokyo during high school and wanting to live abroad again, she moved to the United States as a senior in university.
An alumnus of the University of Queensland, Australia and the University of California San Diego, Danie holds degrees in psychology and business and has been a full charge bookkeeper since 1992.She founded Adjusted Balance, Inc. in 2005, and has since worked with a wide variety of clients, applying her own experience growing a business to help other small businesses achieve success and financial freedom.

Hiring Adjusted Balance has been the best business decision I have ever made. Prior to meeting Danie, we had been thru 3 different accounting firms and were so frustrated with the quality of knowledge and customer care that I was doing most of the work myself or having to double check everything. Once Danie took over, my life changed. She is so competent and detail oriented that over the last 10 years I have pretty much turned all of our accounting needs (both personal and at our law firm) over to her. 2 words of advice. STAY AWAY. As a business owner I have worked with several bookkeeping companies over the last 10+ years and NONE have been as unprofessional as Danie and her "staff" (husband) at Adjusted Balance. I prefer working with companies that don't have so many issues with accountability and who understand what customer service actually means.
