This isn't your typical pasta shop. It's much better than that. All out food on the week after Christmas 2021 was tasty, fresh, hot, and delicious! In fact, no pasta between the three of us!
Prices are not reasonable for the quality of the food, but don't come here thinking you are getting out cheap.
Service was spot on, no rush, friendly. It's so disappointing that they just don't have enough staff to wait on as many tables as they could, so I suggest reservations. No fault of the restaurant! It's a problem everywhere in the service industry, presently.

Dinner and service was good!
I love Andiamo in downtown Detroit so, I give a try to this one at DTW airport Terminal A at Delta international airport. Well for a airport food service is ok considering that is short if stuff in general at the airport.

This is my second visit to Andiamo's and I continue to enjoy!
My friend and I both had the lasagna and splurged for the Caesar salad instead of house salad or soup.
They have a nice selection of pastas as well as chicken and seafood.
The ambiance is lovely and the drinks are great.
I can't wait to visit again.

Andiamo in DTW airport is definitely one of the better options that they have in the McNamara terminal. It definitely doesn’t compare to the riverfront location but it does have a decent menu selection, some good wines, and speedy service which is sometimes what you need when in transit.
I would definitely give it a 3.5 if I could.

This was one of our favorite dining experiences of all time. And it was all because of the host/waiter person. We don’t remember that person’s name but it was incredible. There were lines at every other eating place in the airport we passed, or there just weren’t hosts staffed to seat and welcome folks. At Andiamo, we walked up to a short line and the waiter was walking around delivering food, finalizing bills, and he called us over and pointed to where we could sit. So disappointed. We just ordered two pasta dishes, delivered. I ordered the Paglia e Fieno, and my wife ordered plain Fettuccine Alfredo. After waiting an hour the food was delivered, and the order was two of the Paglia (no Fettuccine). My wife doesn't eat meat, so she was basically sol. The "soup of the day" was filled with ground beef, so she couldn't eat that either. Obviously nobody double checked this order because it would have been easy to spot the chicken/prosciutto on both. This food was expensive and it is inexcusable that this happened.

Our experience there tonight was ok. We had to wait 15 minutes to be greeted at our table and get our water. They were busy so I felt bad for our waitress. The window sill was covered in a layer of dust and my cup had crumbs of food on the rim. However, the server was very sweet and attentive to us. Her cheery disposition helped us overlook some of the small issues. I would say we probably would not go back just due to a lack of attention to detail and cleanliness. One of my appetizer bites was cold in the center also :(

Great pizza and atmosphere. Staffs were really nice too. Prices were more than reasonable. I loved their Sicilian flirt cocktail and Roma chicken pizza. They messed up twice with charging for my order and I had to wait really long so they offered me the drink for free. This shows how much they value their customers and their time.

We dine here every Monday evening and the experience is always wonderful. Staff does an amazing job making sure that the visit is as good possible. Even short staffed they never complain and do their absolute best. I have had many different menu options and the food is always exceptional.
Have to admit that this restaurant dropped off my radar during COVID but once we came back, it has been a weekly staple. Outstanding job!

We are very disappointed at the check situation yesterday for Father's Day. We had three different families at the same table. We asked for separate checks to make life easier,the waiter refused. It was a total nightmare when the bill came and we all had to figure out what we ate,what we drank, etc etc. My dad who is in his 80's is trying to figure out their share. It took us well over 10-15 minutes to figure everything out and I'm still not sure a day later if someone shorted or over payed! Ridiculous that we were put through that,when separate checks would have been so easy! Won

Love Italian food... But have never ever enjoyed any meal from Andiamos.... And I've tried them several times, it's just blend, warehouse-based crappy cooked food... I don't know who would enjoy their cooking... There are so many equally comparable Italian options in the area... Sorry Andiamos.. But it's the truth

He started with the fried calamari, it was fantastic. Perfectly fried and the sauce on the side was amazing. I love the garlic and the tomatoes. We got Caesar salad and tortellini soup next. The soup was a classic soup that tasted very delicious. The table also came with bread, with some olive oil dipping sauce that was so good.The salad had a bit too much dressing for me but it still tasted great

It was my first time eating at Andiamo in a long time. Our server Tim was wonderful. I had limited time to eat and he made sure to accommodate us by speedy service, bagging up our dessert to-go and bringing the check right away. Now the food...oh lord. It was AMAZING. We started with the huge (!) arancini balls and side salads. My boyfriend had the aged rib eye which was incredible but the star of the show was the seafood pasta. I don't think I've had any seafood dish this good. Mussels, GIGANTIC shrimp and scallops, and calamari. I was in ecstasy. Seafood lovers must try this pasta!

I ordered seafood pasta which was tasty but they were very pricey. if it is that pricey then I expected it to be superb but I personally didn't think it worth to pay the price for the quality of foods.
Family of four , bill was close to 300 dollars.
But again nice atmosphere for special occasions.

My Wife and I finally tried Andiamo's yesterday evening. The service (Charley) was very good. The star of the night was "The Food"., Delicious! From the Appetizer, through the Entree's and onto the Dessert, everything met or exceeded our expectations. Bravo!
The only thing better than the Service and Food was watching the Thorough Cleaning of a booth across the room from our table. Cleanliness during the Coronavirus Pandemic and Great Food/
Although we live about 30 minutes away, we're already planning our next visit.

Pretty good as far as airport restaurants go in a sense that it has an extensive menu, lots of drinks, and an overall feel of a real eating establishment. It also has a cool vibe that can almost make you forget that you're at the airport, always a good thing. The service was lacking, took forever to get the bill, a big thing if you have a short layover.

Had the grandfather. The ciabatta roll that it was served on very soft. It really helped with the whole experience of the sandwich. Overall the sandwich will solid spot on if it's what you're looking for you're going to be happy with it.

I came here Saturday night for a couples double date! We were pleasantly surprised by the excellent New York Strip steak deals for $21.99. The deal allowed you to pick from 4 preparation options. I chose the one with fried onions on top and zip sauce. It was really good!
One other ordered their steak the same, my husband got the steak with sea salt and shallots and our other guest got the lasagna. We all enjoyed our meals. They serve soup in a cute little metal cauldron-like bowl.

This is our go-to Italian place. The management, kitchen and severs are all top-notch.
This evening our steaks with zip sauce were done perfectly. As usual. The sides, salads and soup too. Bread basket is always fresh and delicious.
Jason and Alex always take good care of us. As does Dan. Thank you all, and chef, for another great evening.

I was actually really impressed by the quality of the breakfast and the attentiveness of the service. The place got absolutely slammed at 7am, and considering it went from having 3 to over 50 people, they did incredibly well. I enjoyed my coffee (not too bitter or hot!) and waffle. Way better than the motel continental breakfast, by a long shot!
