There are multiple types of skin cancer. Each type has its own characteristics and prognosis. Melanoma is the most lethal form of skin cancer, and its incidence has been increasing in the past several decades. Collectively referred to as non-melanoma skin cancers (NMSCs), basal cell carcinoma (BCC), and squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) are the most common forms of skin cancer.

From the time I registered at the front desk until I checked out after my procedure, the staff showed a kind, caring attitude. Celine, the medical assistant was outstanding as was Dr. Fathi who was very professional yet friendly, took his time explaining things to me, answered questions, and then masterfully performed my surgical procedure. As a dermatologist myself, I highly recommend this office.

My husband and I were both thoroughly impressed by Dr. Fathi's office. Dr. Fathi was extremely thorough in his assessment and explanation of his diagnosis. He listened attentively and he did not rush us. Both of our procedures were quick and painless, for removal of moles and lesions. The office is sanitized and very clean. We appreciated Dr. Fathi:s covid-19 office protocols, a good sign of a doctor who cares about his patients safety. He has an excellent staff who is extremely accommodating and very friendly. schedule an appoinment to the actual time with Dr was fast, extremely efficient and I realize how much time was wasted with a previous provider who obviously was guessing at caring for my issue. Literally within a day I had results from the treatment in this office.

Dr. Fathi was recommended to me by a friend who's a dermatologist in another state, so I had high expectations, and they were exceeded! The facility itself is very nice, all of the staff are kind and helpful, and Dr. Fathi is excellent. He's extremely knowledgeable, pragmatic, and attentive. I felt confident in the treatment plan and I am ecstatic about my results. I saw two dermatologists before him and was so disappointed by those experiences. Dr. Fathi is out of network and 45 minutes away and I have no qualms about that, given how happy I am with my experiences there. 10/10!

Dr. Fathi is great. He's personable, thorough, and takes the time needed to do things right. He's also a Chicago Bears fan (although that might be a negative for some). I rarely wait in the office to be seen. His assistants are super nice and responsive. I've had to change an appointment around to meet my schedule, and they accommodate easily. Just a great experience all-around!

This was my first experience with Phoenix Surgical Dermatology and it was an excellent experience!! Front office staff are very pleasant and helpful. Dr Fathi is (in my opinion) an exceptional Doctor and a great personality. The 2 assistants that helped me are fantastic as well!

Two words best describe my experiences with Dr. Ramin Fathi.....ABSOLUTE PERFECTION! Both times the cancer was on my face and his ability to perform Mohs Surgery was impressive with the entire procedure relaxing, caring, effective and PAINLESS, even two days later. The first time the area was small and two days ago, about the size of my eye. When I… removed the bandage today, WOW, I can barely see it!
