Award-winning HiFi Club was started in 1988 by Hans Betzholtz and Elaine LeVasseur in Santa Barbara, CA, offering the design and installation of custom audiophile music systems and listening rooms. Since then, the Club has expanded to offer multi-room audio and video, home theaters, and automated control systems for residential and commercial spaces.

I am writing to share my gratitude for your work and collaboration in the design and installation of an integrated audio/video system for MOXI, The Wolf Museum of Exploration + Innovation in Santa Barbara. Upon arriving in Santa Barbara as Director of a project already in progress, I reached out for your help to develop a comprehensive a/v system for our museum.
Chris joined the Club in 1988 and has been installing HiFi Club's systems with care and focus. Chris designs and fabricates solutions in wood, plastic or metal whenever required for the best custom installation. Chris enjoys singing, birding and travel with his wife Rebecca, always photographing and videotaping both his work and play.
A smart home is a residence - small or large - with home subsystems that are conveniently controlled by a single control interface. One handheld remote wand or touch screen in a room takes the place of that room's light switches, window shade switches, A/V remotes, thermostat, and so on. A smart home system by HiFi Club comes with devoted longterm service and support, just like our home theater, audio and video systems.

HiFi Club improved my quality of life. That's a big statement, so let me explain.
I live in a higher-end property, but it's older, having been built in 1910. My home and property are not without challenges and idiosyncrasies, and the guys at Hi Fi Club overcame them all. I had a complicated yet limited sound system with a big footprint, outdated internet software and slow speeds, cumbersome controls for TV and sound, and older TVs. I have nothing but good things to say about this company. All individuals involved in setting up our home theater were highly trained and professional. Work was completed on schedule with a 24 hour hour support team to assist us if necessary after the initial installation. The quality of the products is exceptional. Great people to work with. I highly recommend The Hi-Fi Club!

I’ve had the pleasure of using HiFi Club twice now. First, they designed and installed a multi room sound system, and our living room theater, which includes a projector, with a drop down screen, and Genelec speakers. All of which run through a Control4, which we find very intuitive, and sounds great.
More recently HiFi Club design and installed a music system with a 4K TV in my study.
As always I was impressed with their professionalism and knowledge.

The story goes that HiFi Club was the first company of its kind in Santa Barbara and I heard that it literally got started in a garage and on a Vespa. Their expertise and dedication to innovation and quality shows. Their team has installed several systems in our home and many of our friends' homes as well. Ive known HiFi Club for nearly 30 years, and they have consistently performed at the highest level of any installer in the Santa Barbara area. My family's home was the second project they did back in the 80's, and ever since those very early days their standard for excellence has remained second to none.
