Designed with Old-World techniques, Dovetail joinery and high-quality #1 Grade Douglas Fir, these pergolas with lattice roofing can be a beatiful addition to any space. We have 3 structures in the Hut Collection Series. They have solid metal roofing for premium protection, power posts & some styles can even come with fans.
The Kingston is our elite pergola design. It offers a double beam construction on all four sides, with the side beams joined by our famous Dovetail joint, and interlocking knee braces providing superior lateral support. This Decorative pergola is designed with single beams on all four sides which join the posts by our famous Dovetail joint.
This style offers a double beam construction on all four sides, making it the most sturdy structure out of our pergolas. We fabricate our beams into either 3"x12" or 3"x10". Then we join the beams by using our famous Dovetail joints. We use Dovetail Joints to slide our beams together. This technique creates a seamless and elevated look to our pergolas.
This style is designed with single beam construction. Like the Kingston, the Decorative has beams on all four sides. This provides greater strength and lateral support, but does not offer interlocking braces due to its single beam construction. We use Dovetail Joints to connect the posts. This technique creates a seamless and elevated look to our pergolas.
This style is also referred to as a Shed style structure. It's steep symmetrical design allows us to create a beautiful tongue and groove ceiling. The Single-Pitch structure has only one slope as the roof. This style gives you a modern look, along with a metal roof to extend it's durability against the elements.

We had a great experience working with Jeff and Caroline at Notched. We had a bid from another competitor but weren’t really thrilled with their design suggestions for our home. We decided to get a second bid from Notched, and not only did Jeff come up with a much better design, they saved us thousands from original bid. Caroline helped us work patiently through our difficult HOA approval process which was overly complicated..The installation crew were great and attentive to every detail. We highly recommend Notched if you want to transform your outdoor living space.

We love our pergola and deck that was built 6 years ago. We noticed some beams beginning to lean, and Jardin came back and fixed everything, including placing a new beam in the center to fortify the structure. He does incredible work and it's so nice to see a business owner honor their work and reputation by making things right. I would HIGHLY recommend having your deck or pergola built by Notched. A reputable company that does incredible work.

Notched far exceeded our expectations and 5 star for sure , wish we could give 10 stars . We met Jardin at our local home show and saw the Hammock hut structure. We had been looking for years and never found a solid structure that would meet our needs. We had resigned ourselves to getting a custom structure but nervous about not being able to see what we envisioned. We loved everything about notched, free custom 3-D design & Jared listening to Our ideas. Notched had never put two structures together and that’s what we needed to get the space we were looking for and assured us it could be done

Jeff came out to our home for a consultation. He listened to my vision and then gave great recommendations. Notched is top notch! The hammock hut (a patio sized pavilion/pergola that is also perfect for hanging hammocks and hammock chairs) they built for us is simply amazing! Incredible craftsmanship, detail and quality. The owners really take pride in their work and they have a streamlined installation process (it went up really fast and I didn't have to do the work). We've become professional hammockers...and we didn't even need to take lessons ;) If you want to lower your blood pressure a few points and have a nice place to chill with your family, get a hammock hut from Notched! You'll love it!

Notched installed our pergola about two year ago and we have absolutely loved it. They were wonderful to work with from planning and personalization to implementation and installation. The products they use are exceptional quality. We were shocked at just how large and substantial the timbers are. They look anything but chintzy. We have received lots of compliments and I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Met Jardin at Arizona home show in 2017, were we looking for a timber frame Pergola and saw the display they had at the show. after checking out the show and all the others there with the same kind of product we settled on the Notched Pergola. It is extremely well built with quality materials. It took us some time to erect the Pergola in out yard as we have been remodeling to whole thing. The Pergola looks great sitting in the yard and we just love it, The Notched team are great to work with and can design you when you are looking for at a very reasonable price. We were introduced to EH Pergolas at a local home show and met Jardin the owner of the company there.
After looking at lots of options over several years we were very impressed by EH's display and apparent quality wooden structures.
After meeting with Jardin we decided on the Rustic model pergola, he came out and took measurements and notes on our site in order to begin the custom building process.
Today he arrived in person with the parts of our pergola which he spent the day meticulously assembling.
I am totally impressed by his attention to detail both in the constuction and the materials
