Roy is a seasoned and Licensed Acupuncturist with over a decade of expertise in alternative medicine, who envisioned creating a comprehensive practice based on holistic healing principles, balancing the mind, body and soul. This has led him to assembling a team of remarkable practitioners, who specialize in a wide range of healing modalities, and establishing the Kimia Wellness Center.
Rooted in ancient Traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture is the practice of using fine needles at points on the body, to re-balance energy known as "qi." Once inserted into the acupuncture points, the needles promote better circulation, reduce pain and inflammation, enhance one's immune system and strengthen the body's natural ability to heal itself.
Kimia Wellness is an alternative wellness center located in Los Angeles. We are an integrated clinic meaning that we work alongside your Western MD to treat your condition or symptoms, and are not meant to replace your primary care physician. I was referred by my doctor to help speed up my pregnancy with acupuncture. The staff is very friendly, helpful and responsive and I got an appointment right away. My first appointment went very smoothly and was seen right away. I have had acupuncture a couple times before, but was still a little nervous. Roy is very patient and spent time to get to know me and explained the whole process. I felt very comfortable and my anxiety went away. The time flew and I felt very relaxed during my session. I highly recommend!

I have to say I am not one to give a recommendation like the one I am going to give straight off the bat.
Right from the beginning the clear instructions where to park, to the questionnaire identifying pertinent information.
Dr Roy was like a spiritual enabler, I had a heavy chest infection a few weeks post covid and was feeling very depleted. Roy was unbelievable in finding the root cause of the congestion and made remedies through alternative parts of my body.
His warm natured and understanding of the human body is what sets him apart.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending Roy to all

Roy has magic hands! I was looking for acupuncture and was recommended to Roy/Kimia Wellness by a friend. I love working with him. He listens to everything going on in my body and we decide on a treatment together. I like the collaboration vs someone purely telling me what I need, which I have encountered in the past. As someone who is recently pregnant, this has been a God Send. I fall asleep every time and arrive in "Chee Land" aka back to my original life source/heaven. Highly recommend!

My acupuncture treatments with Roy have been life changing! I was suffering terribly with multiple stomach issues that were resulting in multiple diagnoses with no real answers. Since starting with weekly treatments, I feel like a normal, functioning human being again. I started going to Kimia Wellness about a month ago for my stiff neck that had me truly stuck to the right side. I started with consistent acupuncture and massage then later added cupping and Electro acupuncture. The combination of these services improved my range of motion and straightened my neck. There is no doubt that I recommend Kimia wellness and Dr. Roy Kimia. Roy truly knows exactly how to treat for immediate results!

After my massage, I had to sit in my car for about 10 minutes. I felt like I had died and gone to heaven. I have some complicated neck issues and it's very hard for me to just trust anyone to massage me. At Dr. Kimia office not only were they professional, clean (especially with the whole Covid19 pandemic) accommodating, nice and so much more, they are truly experienced and skilled in what they are doing. This place is the BEST! Roy and co. are all extremely skilled acupuncturists. I have been seeing Roy since he opened three years ago. He has fantastic touch and is great at adjusting to what I want to work on in a particular session. I also get cupping, another therapy Roy excels at. They also have a great team of masseuses. I just left Kimia Wellness and couldn't be more thrilled. From the moment you walk in you are surrounded by a caring and patient staff with the most amazing energy. Dr Kimia is meant to be a healer. I was so impressed with the calm demeanor, patience, gentle touch (and poke), and all around professionalism I experienced. He really listened to my needs and spent extra time in making sure I was comfortable and relaxed. I have been to other acupuncturists before but Dr Kimia spent more time with me than anyone. You can tell he is a healer because he really wants to help people. That is a trait I really admire these days.

Dr. Roy Kimia is super helpful and walks you through the entire process. He is super welcoming and makes sure that you feel comfortable. It was my first time ever getting Accupuncture so I was super nervous, but Dr. Roy made sure that I was okay before he started.
I have been getting accupuncture and cupping for several months now and his treatments are incredible, I highly recommend. I noticed changes in my appetite and even inflammation. I will keep going to Dr. Roy!

Honestly Roy Kimia is the best. My pain has reduced by so much and I'm so glad I found this acupuncturist. I've been on the hunt for some time now and some beautiful girl at the gym told me about this acupuncture and I didn't even know what to think.

He asked where the headache was coming from, stuck a needle somewhere on my hand, and the headache quickly subsided. It was amazing.
