Services
Botox, Dysport, and Xeomin are neuromodulators (each made by different companies) that help treat face and neck wrinkles by relaxing the underlying muscles. These can also be used to treat hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), TMJ issues, gummy smiles, dimpled chins and crepey skin. Botox, Dysport and Xeomin work by temporarily blocking the nerve signals that make your muscles contract.
Halo is a skin resurfacing treatment that delivers non-ablative and ablative wavelengths to the same treatment zone, giving impressive results without the discomfort or downtime of the older ablative treatments. Halo's new technology (it is a Hybrid Fractional Laser) is able to treat many issues at one time: visible signs of skin aging from sun exposure, wrinkles, discoloration, scars and laxity.
Almost all dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA) which is a basic element in connective skin tissue, in spinal fluid, in the eyes, and in joints. HA has the ability to draw and hold water and it helps to nourish and moisturize the skin. Unfortunately, hyaluronic acid in the skin, like collagen, diminishes as we age.
The Skin Tyte treatment uses selective thermolysis and broadband light technology to deeply heat your skin while cooling and protecting the entire treated surface. Skin Tyte can be provided quickly and comfortably with no downtime. The end result is a more youthful appearance. What is the treatment like?
BBL is for treating skin conditions associated with aging, active lifestyles and sun damage. It is similar to Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), but is a newer technology that also treats a wider range of skin types, allows for greater customization, and allows for more issues to be treated during one treatment.

It was my third visit with Sarah today and I'm inspired to write a review. She is an artist and a nurse, you can't really ask for a better combination when getting injections! I recommend her to all my family and friends. She walked me through my first filler experiences this year, achieving the natural yet enhanced look I was going for. After lots of online research in trying to find the best person to trust with my first botox treatment, I decided on Iris at Body Tonic because she had nothing but incredible reviews. Every review that sings Gina's praises are well deserved! I have never in my life thought that I would consider Botox and to be honest, I really do not know that many black people that have had it as we typically do not have any issues with wrinkle/crinkles, however, since I have passed the age of 40, I have noticed pronounced laugh lines at the corners of my eyes that are unappealing. My whole life I’ve covered always my smile because I was self conscious of my gummy smile. Once Gina got her hands on them, that completely changed. Jennifer Mixson is an expert. Botox, filler, whatever. She works with your natural face and enhances it in a subtle, soft way rather than making it look odd/different than nature intended. Jennifer Mixon is amazing! She's very knowledgeable and just easy to be around and talk to about procedures and processes. Some women who work in Medspas can be intimidating and she is down to earth. She also has beautiful skin and wears only eye makeup (very natural). She answered all my questions. Even got me excited about other services there as well that I was interested in. I have visited Med Spas all over Austin and in various other cities in the past 20 years and have found Body Tonic to be the best. Iris Taylor is an expert injector with an artist's eye. I see her for all filler and Botox work. I hesitated having any work done on my lips, but when I finally decided the vertical lip lines had to be fixed, Iris did it in a perfectly subtle and beautiful way.
