In order to create the perfect outdoor lighting design tailored to each individuals needs we start with our initial design consultation. Our owner and operator Patrick Ryan, meets with you to personally evaluate the landscape and home.

Our professional landscape lighting installation technicians take pride in doing a 100% satisfactory job in the utmost timely manner. Upon agreement of a contract, we then order all required materials. Once we receive all necessary materials (usually 7-12 business days, or less), a firm install date will be determined.
Gardens and landscapes live, breathe and change, and sometimes lighting systems can stop working. Perhaps a wire is cut or the transformer has stopped working? Between the quote process and install, Patrick made the process easy and was a complete professional. During the initial quote he went over a range of options and was happy to answer all of my questions. We had our installation scheduled and he was right on time, the install went well and he really made sure to put things back to the way the were before (grass, rocks, etc.). He went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect. I really cannot recommend Patrick and his team enough.

I have tried all kinds of solar lights, and was tired of constantly fussing with them. When I started to research landscape lighting, I quickly realized that a self-install was beyond my abilities, patience and available time. I wasn't home the evening the lights first came on, but when I arrived home, I was blown away - it didn't even look like the same house. Patrick was awesome to work with by creating a design that looks beautiful and within my budget.

Patrick came out on time and gave us an estimate. He then showed up on time to do the work. He worked hard removing old and installing new lighting. He cleaned everything up and took all trash with him. He was extremely professional, worked hard and we are very pleased with everything he did! We completely recommend him!

I'm so grateful I came across Patrick Ryan and his family owned business Refined Outdoor Lighting. He is a TRUE Professional Landscape Lighting Specialist. He answered all my questions immediately, provided tremendous products, and he delivered results beyond our expectations. In hindsight, I realize now I never really had landscape lighting compared to what I have now. His ability to design the perfect layout to highlight and accent my current home and landscaping was critical. Patrick and his crew are professional and friendly. We have a large yard with a lot of old lighting. He worked with us to use what he could and replace the rest to make our yard absolutely stunning at night. Many neighbors have commented and asked for his number. He also placed lighting in our koi pond and it looks great. We are very happy with our whole transaction with him, from beginning to end. Bonus points for being so nice to the partially blind dog!!

Patrick has been great from start to finish. Patrick was able to come out to my house a few days after reaching out and was able to get a good design and estimate. Installation was quick and the work was great. Patrick made some modification to the design during install which made the yard really come together.

Patrick did an amazing job! He provide a solid layout plan and explained why he'd puts the lights where he suggested, a written bid, worked with me on lighting the waterfall to get just perfect after I wasn't crazy about what we first did, and took some amazing photos to show it all off! I'm totally in love with the backyard at night now.

Patrick is amazing. He is professional, personable and very good at what he does. It is obvious he knows a great deal about lighting and loves what he does. We had a problem with the lights illuminating our putting green. My landscapers couldn't figure out the issue. Patrick came out and was able to trace the issue, find the problem and recommend a repair that would actually save me money. He explained what he had found and how he had solved it and said he had really enjoyed the challenge. Their rates are very reasonable too. Highly recommend them!

Great experience from start to finish!! Refined Outdoor Lighting worked within my budget to create a great lighting design! Patrick was very enthusiastic and professional about his craft. I really enjoy when the sun goes down, my house lights up and all of my landscaping is highlighted!! So far it's one of the only houses in the neighborhood with a design, and we get compliments all the time from my neighbors!
