We offer a combination of a top quality dry product and reliable service to create and maintain long-term relationships with our valuable customers. After numerous trees had fallen on our family's property in 1992 due to Hurricane Andrew, Hardwood Firewood (HWFW) was created. We needed to move the trees but did not really know what to do with them but had an idea to sell it to homeowners for firewood.
This led to HWFW becoming the largest supplier to residential customers in the Greater New Orleans area from 1997-2004. In 1995, a variety of wood products other than oak became available. HWFW added cherry, hickory, pecan, and mesquite to their inventory triggering unprecedented growth. In 1997, we invested in a huge storage facility where the firewood is stored to maintain its quality longer.
