Black lights, glowing pins and alleys, dance music, and a light show all add up to a groovy experience! Regular (Open Play) rates or $25.72 per hour. Two hours of Atomic Bowling, shoe rental, a pizza of choice, and unlimited soda for only $115. 5 people per lane. Reservations not required but encouraged.

Bowling is a great way to get the kids moving! At the Boardwalk Bowl, we offer a Physical Education program for schools, free portable lanes and pins for loan, and we throw the best Kids' Parties! The Boardwalk Bowl is an official Bowlopolis center. Bowlopolis is an animated series created by the Bowling Proprietors' Association of America and the United States Bowling Congress to teach kids the fun and sport of bowling.

This place is pretty old (the bowling OS) and the keyboard doesn't work half the time but it was fun. I set my profile to have bumpers but they auto disabled them after 2 rounds for me being too tall. My lane stopped working once and I only found 8, 10, 12, 14, 15 balls that mostly had small finger holes, but at the end it was fun.

This place tends to be okay when you are a normal guest, but we had been working with them for over a month in order to host a memorial service that would be a party of 50+ people. When coordinating this with a woman on the phone, it seemed like things could work out here but oh boy, were we wrong.
When making this reservation, we were not informed that the area we had reserved would only be available for us to use for less than two hours and that we would be pushed out of the room we were in because of a karaoke night that was supposed to happen concurrently that evening. The bowling was fun, it was packed and we waited a long time to get our lanes, we were a group of 8 so it was split among two. One of the lanes machines overheated and half the group was moved down to a different lane, which also ended up breaking down and not functioning, the workers were quite nice though and overall it was fun

Bowling looked fun. We went in for some late-night food to take back to our room. The service was poor, the lady working and cook were visibly frustrated. Ordered Pizza and Curly Fries. The fries were done in 5mins and we watched them sit on the counter for 15mins before we asked if those were ours. The lady said yes, and that there is another 15 minutes on the pizza. So we told her we would like fresh fries with the pizza, not fries that Have been sitting for 30mins. So it was about a 45min wait for a $35 pizza and we get what is pictured below, the pizza had little to no sauce, the cheese was

We LOVE this place! We are regulars and have gotten to know most of the staff. They are wonderful people and they always make us feel like GOLD. I'm the mom of a son with special needs. We meet up every Tuesday with two other moms/sons with special needs to enjoy bowling. Our sons bowl while we YAK. We've always been treated beautifully and personally by all staff. For me, this place is pure gold.

Wow , talk about nostalgia. Loved coming back here after all these years. Before entering , they have several sanitation dispensers set up. The bar room is open currently and the high top tables are spread out. The lanes for usage have also been spread out. They had 1-2 lanes separated for bowlers. Also , no more than 6 Per group. It's nice , open and bright. They had a system for clean bowling balls too. Nice to see they are still open a little later than most establishments in the area. There is street parking for the bowling alley as well or you can park at the large lot and it currently

Came here on a Sunday morning and we had to wait 15 minutes, so with that in mind know that it's a popular spot to visit. They are located across the street from the boardwalk. The place is not huge which may be a reason for the delay, but it is pretty and nicely decorated. Everyone is super nice and friendly and they have a long extensive menu of food you can order. They have breakfast stuff such as a ; egg muffin, pancakes, ham, sausage, and a breakfast burrito. they have a long list of appetizers such as fries, chicken fingers, tater tots, wings. This is without a doubt the home of the worst service in Santa Cruz county. I went up to the little walk up window for the bar and asked if they were serving, the answer I got back was "yes". Well, 20 minutes later and I'm STILL waiting for him to take my order when I leave. The bar was NOT packed so what they were thinking I have no clue.

We took our 6 year old here to play. The place was clean and we had fun. The staff on the other hand was very rude. I guess there was a bowling league that was coming into play and the first thing said to us when we walked in was "you have 30 min and can only play one game". No explanation just that. I asked what would happen if our game went over 30 min and she rolled her eyes and said "it wont". The only reason we stayed is cause my 6 year old was so excited. There are much nicer people at other places in Santa Cruz that would be much more worth your time.

1. Dirty: Wut? Apparently, you haven't been in a truly dirty bar/bowling alley in a while. The floors are clean, there is always someone bussing the tables and wiping them off. It doesn't smell like feet. Okay, Princess, if you are gonna be like that, bring Clorox Wipes or a plastic bubble.
2. Safety: OMG. There are people smoking WEED at the BOARDWALK in SANTA CRUZ?! THIS IS A DEN OF INIQUITY! Reefer Madness. But, seriously, the boardwalk and area around it can be shady. They have security at

This place is great ! If you're looking for the fancy bowling alleys this isn't one of them by far but this place is great nonetheless. I prefer this over leather chairs at the bowling alley any day. After going to the Santa Cruz diner we came here before exploring the boardwalk and there were two schools checking in right before we walked in so that was the worst part. Kids are great but it took so long to get assistance and a lane. Worth the wait and the price is right :-). We had so much fun and I'm terrible but it was a great place to kill some time while we waited for the weather

I had a good time here a couple weeks ago. I actually didn't bowl. I just sat in the bar drinking beer. The bartenders were busy but still had time to chat between customers. They were friendly and moved fast to serve everyone quickly.
There was a karaoke birthday party at the bar that night. There was a sweet young mentally challenged girl celebrating her birthday with some friends and family. She really enjoyed singing and sang dozens of songs. Her friends and family members took turns singing along with her. Listening to her sing with her family was much more enjoyable and entertaining
